After a hiatus, I am happy to say that Snyder Small Animal Supply will be reopening for business later this year in NE Ohio. I am moving to a new location with a shop to be able to restart cage and carrier orders.

I will continue to offer supplies and some of the smaller carriers to be shipped while cages and most carriers as local pickup only.

I am happy to announce that I will be adding vinyl coated wire to carriers as an option.

As always, I will continue to offer quality workmanship at a fair price and the ability to provide custom orders to fit your needs.

It is with a very heavy heart that I share Snyder Small Animal Supply will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future.

I love doing this work and meeting all the fantastic people along the way. Unfortunately, it has been a very difficult year and due to current circumstances, I am not able to provide the level of service to customers that I demand of myself. This business has almost completely been a "one person operation" on top of a very demanding full-time career and spending valuable time with my kids, which is my absolute top priority. Additionally, my current living situation doesn't provide sufficient work space conducive for working once the sun is down.

All in all, it is too much stress.

I am taking at least the winter off and will likely re-evaluate things in April or May. I am always available to answer questions about cage building or supplies if anyone has any.

Thank you all for business and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Go Bucks!

Received some great news this weekend! It appears that wire prices from the manufacturer will be going down. I expect to be able to reflect those with cage and carrier prices!!

We received between 3.5-5” of rain, depending on location, last night and our fair was closed today as a result. The fair community really came together to bounce back with volunteers, donations, and much hard works. Very proud to be a member of this fair family with two new cloverbuds next year.

Snyder Small Animal Supply will be supporting the hard work of these youngsters and their families at the Lorain County Junior Fair Small Animal Auction tomorrow.

What sets our carriers apart?

All carriers are built to last and make transport as easy as possible.

Every carrier is built ENTIRELY WITH heavy duty 14 gauge galvanized after wire (including the floor), includes vinyl coated handles, heavy duty high tension pan springs, and a heavy duty spring lock. All dividers are made from 1/8” high density polyethylene.

1” x 1” wire available upon request (additional charge may apply)
