Video for Jamie fans. You even get to see him do a few stairs.

I have held the line on boarding prices since July 2016. Due to increased business costs effective 1/1/25 the price for dog boarding will increase to $35 a night. The price for cat boarding will increase to $20 a night.

Can you tell these two are cousins? That's Leo on the left & Yogi on the right. Both of them can sleep on the larger dog bed but they prefer the cat bed!

This is for my friends at Cat Adoption Team Services. Jamie's doing great, has mastered the stairs, runs around the entire house & was even out when I had a very friendly beagle Leo staying over for a few days. His playpen has been moved to the spare room upstairs but I don't think he really goes in it much anymore. In this video he thought he could see a bug on the ceiling.

June & July have been super busy for me and I also had to deal with the loss of one of my own cats & now Jason's skin condition. So here are some of the furry friends I had the pleasure of taking care of these past 2 months.

Hi everybody it's Jamie! Look how great I'm doing & how big I've gotten! I'm so strong I can pull myself up the cat tree & get into the window perches in the living room. I drive my mom crazy with how fast I can scoot along, she has a hard time catching me. She also keeps saying my lovely tail looks like a feather duster. I don't know what that is but I do know I'm not a bird. Thank you to everybody who helped me to live my best life!

New arrival! This is Lil Dude and he’s a 15-16 year old Beagle. He’s a short, little man who loves love and attention. His tail wags non-stop.

Good day for a nap! My days with Lil Dude are winding down, he is scheduled to go to rescue on May 19th. He's a very lucky boy, he's already had a physical & senior labs done. It's been an absolute pleasure having him.

Update on my 3 cats which I posted about on 12/23. First off Mr. Weebles, the cat originally diagnosed with heart block. Andrea Ster questioned whether it was some sort of vagal response after seeing his test results. The vet who admitted Weebs posted his EKG strip on an online forum for vet's & vagal response was also suggested. So an atropine test was done & Weebs heart responded correctly which it wouldn't have if he had heart block. An xray also showed he was slightly constipated. So basically something caused him to become hypothermic, which slowed his heart down. Whether it was some sort of neurological episode who knows. It did take quite few days for him to be back to his usual activity & personality--I think the dose of cerenia he got after the atropine really threw him for a loop. For several days he would look at me but you could tell nobody was home. But he's back to his normal self now. That's him in the penguin sweater.

As for Muffin, her lab work was not good. Electrolytes were off, her Thyroid levels were too high (I figured that as I hadn't been able to get her meds in her). Based on her labs there is a question of a malignancy somewhere, perhaps lymphoma. She's on potassium supplements, appetite stimulants, B12 shots, an antibiotic & thyroid meds. She's slowly improving, eating better & her on & off chronic nasal congestion is much better. Muffin is the tortie.

My beloved Spencer continues to do well. He takes his new cardiac meds like a champ. To look at him you would never know his heart is so bad. He's eating great, enjoying his life as he always has. I'm trying very hard to act normally around him, he's so very sensitive to my moods. I do my crying in the Jeep.

Please continue sending my babies good thoughts & healing energy.
