These studs have all been posted here before, but I had someone asked me about 170 class deer from NY. Truth be told, we don’t handle many 170” bucks from NY. These NY deer range from 166”-179” gross scores. The first 2 pics are officially scored at over 170”. The remaining deer are in the 160’s.. Now the biggest wild deer we ever handled was from NY Grossed 233” in 2007. Now anyone that knows us realizes that we treat every deer like a 233” buck. Never know when it your best deer or your last buck you harvest. Have a great weekend. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Happy New Year to all. Now that the marathon 2024 deer season is over, it is time to start thinking about next deer season…. But before you do I would like to share the largest deer from the 2023 Illinois deer season we mounted. He is this week’s Big Buck Friday candidate a couple days early. This guy gross scores 187”. OMG. He is done up on a pedestal/barrel mount. What dreams are made of. Now the next few months we are going to be working tirelessly on getting our backlog caught up. I cannot thank you more for the overwhelming support. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Someone call the bombsqad for bomb shell. This 5 1/2 year old, WNY buck gross scores at 166”. He has 11 points, mass, long beams, helll he has it all. He also has a picture perfect cape sporting a 24” neck at the smallest point. This is another great example of why I started Big Buck Friday years ago. Have a great day. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

164 inches coming at you for Big Buck Friday. This monarch is from WNY. He has sweeping beams, crazy mass, split brows with tall tines. We slightly customized the pedestal for the wall and added a piece of wood off the bottom to hang a shed from this buck from the previous year. Have a great day. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Don’t adjust your eyes or the color on your screen. This young piebald doe is from WNY. Now it is not the traditional piebald where it has spots all over. This awesome critter is modeled white thru the entire pelt. These piebald deer are almost always oddly shaped. This doe has a longer body and neck with a small face. I have a piebald doe in the shop that has a super short neck. We customized the form tipping her head up, opening the mouth and we inserted the original lower teeth from this doe while munching on a turnip. Cool animal. Have a great day. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Going to love this story. So anyone that knows me well, knows that I was a big softball coach forever. Well, it is priceless when a young lady that your daughter played ball with comes in as an expecting mom, harvesting her first buck, then picks up her trophy buck with her baby boy and husband. Let’s hear it for this Monarch from WNY on Big Buck Friday the 13th!!! This stud was harvested in 2023 with archery equipment, gross scores 163”, has crazy mass and has so many points I lost count. He actually left the shop on a jack Daniel’s barrel. Have a great day. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Just cleaned up a few pics off of the I pad this morning. I love show a pile of deer together. I show how different they are. Oblivious the difference in antlers, but the colors of capes, white patches, markings on their face etc….no wonder why we strap ourselves to the side of the tree in pursuit of these great creatures. Both of these NY bears are Boone and crockett. The bear with the bigger white V is the number one Allegheny county gun bear (21 4/16”). We mounted 7 years ago and on display at shop The other bear is the number one Allegheny County archery bear(21 3/16”) and just completed. Both bears are on the exact same form, just altered to fit their body shape. The archery bear with a 1/16” smaller score actually weighed more than the gun bear. These are the two highest scoring bears in BSH 28 years of being in business. NYS has some big bears that’s for sure. Have a great night. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Black Friday aways comes with alittle twist….. but for Big Buck Black Friday this guy fits the craziness that this day can bring. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to try to score this guy…. On the eve of big buck Friday. I thought I would shoot a 40 second video of the showroom. I know I showcase mostly whitetails but there is a ton more going on. Good luck out there. Now with archery season upon us and temps in the 70-80 degree range you are going to have to get your deer skinned and quartered ASAP. We pieced the video together 7 years ago to help make sure you make the correct cuts when you are skinning your deer for a mount. Putting a bag of ice in his chest is not going to cut it with these temps and it could ruin your cape and meat. Do not get your deer wet. Always a good idea to have a couple milk jugs frozen with water to help initially cool your deer. Also if you get your deer to a processor, do not assume that they have enough refrigeration to keep your cape. Time is of the essence when it is this warm. Hope this helps. Shoot straight and be safe. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
