📣New PUPPY Classes📣

📍Saturdays at 11:15am - starts June 21

📍Thursdays at 6:00pm - starts June 26

🔸️6 week courses, 1 hour each week - $200

The most critical time for your puppy's social development occurs before 5 months of age. NKTC will help you get your young puppy off to the right start.
This class will help develop the confidence and social skills needed for your puppy to become a well adjusted adult. With our balanced approach to training, we will show you ways to socialize your puppy and provide you with methods to manage normal puppy behavior and prevent problems. The basic foundation for good obedience starts here.

- Name and Attention Games
- Sit
- Down
- Come
- Walking on Leash
- Polite meeting and greeting of people and other dogs.

We'll answer all your questions about house training, biting and chewing, crate training, handling and grooming, socialization, nutrition, proper play techniques, and so much more!

New at Niagara K9 Training Center! Evening Rally Obedience classes starting soon! There are still spots available. Starting June 25th, two class times available, 6pm and 7pm. $180 for the 6 week session. Taught by Bethany Allsop Shave, owner of Moltuc Dog Training in the Rochester area. Bethany’s roots started long ago here in the Buffalo area with her beloved Molson and Tucker. Bethany and her boys were a main stay at area dog events in this area. Rally is a wonderful alternative to regular group class. Handlers interested should have completed a basic obedience class at an area facility. Rally is fun and interactive, a type of hybrid between obedience and agility. Email [email protected] and specify Bethany’s Rally class and your choice of time. Your dog will love you for it!

Team Gus with handler Bob are having a blast while trying some fun agility here at Niagara K9. Fun Agility is very engaging while learning to work together as a team while working different obstacles. This helps build trust, confidence, teamwork and creates a closer bond. Awesome job! 😁I am opening up Fun Agility classes on Fridays at 1 and Sundays after 3 starting around the first or second week of June. It will be 4 weeks for $120. Our dogs noses are amazing! It’s so fascinating to watch our dogs work odor to the source. In this case it’s Birch. Teams Vinny and Punkin did a great job finding it! I am opening up another Beginner/Intro to odor Nosework Class here at Niagara K9 Starting Tuesday 5/27 @ 3 pm. It will be 4 weeks for $150, small classes. Teams are having fun doing some Nosework puzzles as well as trying a couple obstacles such as the tunnel and the mini A-frame in my Cross training classes here at Niagara K9. These classes are designed to help build confidence in our dogs and I meet every dog where they’re at. They’re so fun. It’s beautiful to see their confidence grow. Great job everyone! ☺️

New Obedience Session starts next week! Tuesday Session on May 6th, there are spots available for Basic Level (6pm and 7pm) as well as Intermediate at 8pm (you and your dog must have completed a Basic Level session previously). I have a few openings left for Sundays at 2 and 3:30 for Cross Training Confidence Building Class. What is Cross Training Confidence Building Class you might ask?

Your dog will build confidence while learning to work different obstacles and different surfaces along with some Nosework all while having fun and the handlers learn teamwork with their dog and the bond grows even stronger through trust, love and fun.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch and be a part of.
If you would like to join in and hold a spot for you and your dog(s) it’s only three weeks at a time for $75. One dog runs at a time while the others are either crated in the facility or in your vehicle. If your dog is not used to being in a crate, there are other options that we could work out.

Here are some of the teams that had fun in classes this past Sunday here at Niagara K9 doing some Nosework as well as building Confidence in Cross Training classes. Some for the very first time and others are building upon their skills.

Wow, it was a full day of training and lots of fun with all the teams (not all our pictured) these classes are held on Sundays all day and Friday early afternoons. Everyone did awesome! 🤩

Dogs of all ages are welcome and even if they have physical limitations I will modify for your dog. 

These classes, whether be Nosework or Cross training are so good for our dogs to build confidence while having fun and bond closer as a team.
