🐾🧩 Nosework Odor Puzzles – Every Wednesday at 7:30 PM! 🧩

Looking for a fun, mentally stimulating activity that challenges your dog and strengthens your teamwork?

These drop-in sessions are perfect for boosting confidence, building problem-solving skills, and keeping your dog’s mind active and happy. Each week brings fresh puzzles and new challenges your dog will LOVE! 👃✨

Whether you're preparing for trials or just looking for something fun and enriching, these odor puzzles are great for all skill levels — and dogs of all ages are welcome! 🐾💛
📍 Location: Niagara K9
⏰ Wednesdays weekly at 7:30 PM
🚗 Dogs will be crated in your vehicle or inside the facility while waiting their turn.
This keeps the working area calm and helps every dog succeed.

You will pay at the facility upon arrival. It’s $35 per team.

Designed for dogs who have completed obedience class and already know basic commands!

✅ Leash handling & manners
✅ Teamwork & engagement

✅ Step-by-step preparation for the CGC test

📅 Dates: 12/7 – 1/11 (Week 6 = Official CGC test)

🌟 Look at Ditto go! 🌟 This is only his third Nosework class, and he’s already working odor like a pro! Watching Ditto and his handler, Elliot, grow together is such a beautiful thing — their teamwork just shines. 💛

During this private session, they even took a little break to relax and just enjoy each other’s company — their connection is really something special. Ditto is such a loving, smart boy, and it’s amazing to see his confidence bloom each week!

Big boy Vinny is soaking up some cuddle time with mom while waiting for his turn to search in Nosework class 💕 He’s always ready to work — but never says no to a little love first! 🐾💪

🐾 Nosework fun with Freya, Lil Man & Aofah! 🐶✨

These three were patiently waiting their turn to search, and they all did amazing! 👏

Handler Melissa did such a great job encouraging little Lil Man (only 10 pounds!) to stretch up and indicate the source of odor. He knew it was there — he just needed a little boost of confidence to get up on his hind legs and show it off! 💪🐕

Even though it’s been a while since Lil Man has done Nosework, he jumped right back in and had a blast! 💛

It’s so important to encourage our dogs to search both high and low. When teaching dogs to search high, I like to encourage them just a bit above their nose level and gradually increase it while cheering them on to stretch up and explore. 🌟

Encouraging them to explore builds confidence and helps them develop independent searching — learning to work both high and low with enthusiasm and focus. 🐾💖

For handlers, remember that building confidence takes time, patience, and consistency. Our dogs rely on us to support and guide them — so take a breath, trust the process, and celebrate every small success along the way. 💕

Team Linden & Daisy and Aspen & Muffin are learning about distractions, leash handling, and feeding on source — and they’re doing so well! So proud of these awesome teams! 🥰

🐾 Junior Nosework Sessions Opening! 🐾

I have two openings starting this Sundays 10/26 at 1 for our Junior Nosework class!
👉 For kids ages 8–16 (must be accompanied by a parent or adult)
👉 4-week session — $140
👉 No experience required, but dogs should have basic obedience

All dogs run separate separately and individually while the other dogs are waiting in a crate

This is such a fun and rewarding way for kids to bond and learn with their dogs — just like Linden & Daisy and Aspen & Muffin in these clips! 🐶💖

🐾 Watch Team Drax work this odor puzzle like a pro! These teams have been tackling hides placed close together — and they’re all doing awesome! 👏

Our Nosework classes here at Niagara K9 are such a blast, and new sessions start this Sunday, 10/25, beginning at 11:00 AM and running hourly through the afternoon with both classes and privates.

We’re also adding a Wednesday evening class at 6:30 PM, with the new session starting 10/29! 🌟

Classes run for 4 weeks at $140 per team, and drop-ins are welcome for $35 per team.
