Let's be honest for a minute. I have taken a couple month hiatus because honestly I was on the brink of shutting everything down.
A lot has happened in the last few months, starting with someone turning us in saying we don't feed our horses properly. Of course it was unfounded, but it really made me want to close up shop. Then my child that helped out a lot with caring for the rescues went off to college, which I am more than happy for her and want her to succeed! Getting good help is hard to find! The last straw was half of my income was reduced due to my husband being unable to work due to an accident. Things have gotten tough, but I am not asking for a pity party or anything. I refuse to let go of one thing that has made me happy over the years. I love helping horses and other animals as I can.
I do 95% of this with my own money because lets face it donations are low and have been almost non existent in all the years that I have been running this rescue. People tend to donate to the big box operations and they don't realize that they are also paying people's salaries, living expenses, etc.
I do not take any of the money that the rescue gets. I use it all for the horses. Yes, I have a few personal horses, which I pay for out of my own paycheck. The money donated, goes to only the rescue horses. They are expensive. They cost a lot of money. Anyone that owns horses knows how expensive horses are, rescue horses cost a lot more. They have a lot more problems.
Anyway if you have stayed this long and read my rant, today is Giving Tuesday! Let's bring this rescue back with a bang.
If you feel obliged and moved to donate, you can donate to us through the following ways:

Unfortunately I am still fighting Facebook to get my donation button back. They keep saying I have not provided the requested documentation, when I have done it 100 times, no joke! We are trying it once again!
We are a small, all volunteer based rescue. We do not receive any funding of any kind. We are an all donation ran operation. The government does not provide any help. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible as the law permits.
