We were asked if we could take this mare but unfortunately we are unable to take her at this time. We told them that we would help to find someone that could give her a soft landing.

She is a 30 year old mare that has never been ridden. She will need weight and most likely needs shots and coggins. Has been a pasture mate. Her owner passed away and his son is looking to place the horse.

We do not know anything else about the horse, we are just trying to help the owners find a soft landing for her.

If you have a space in your paddock and want to rehab her and love on her, please let us know. We will get you in touch with the owner.

We need your help! Luxor needs a umbilical hernia repair surgery. He needs it done as soon as we can come up with the funds. If we don't get the surgery done soon, it could become life threatening.

We cannot schedule the surgery until we have payment in full.

We had a surprise visit from a neighboring bull this morning. After a little bit of work, we got him loaded on the trailer and headed back home. It was nice to hang out with you Goose!

We had a busy day today here at the rescue! Started out with a visit from our favorite vet, Dr. Carter. Always a pleasure to see him!

Then we did some cleaning up around the rescue. Things that just accumulate over the months. Looks a lot better.

We ended our day with another one of our favorites coming to see us, Summer Haywood. As always we have the best time when you come to see us!!

We are super appreciative of our care team for our equines! Thank you all!

A little late post….ok a super late post, but life gets the best of us at times.

We want to thank Purina and A Home For Every Horse for the Purina Horse Feed coupons. These will come in handy!!

At times we feel like since we are so small we get overlooked and this made our day!

As an unlucky person that I am lol, this was great to finally win something!

Tribute will help out our rescue with each proof of purchase that is sent in. So don't throw out those feed bags!

Collect original proof of purchase seals from Tribute feeds and forages and you can help Spurs and Latigo Ranch save the lives of equines in need.

Proof of purchases can be mailed to 6113 Salley Road, North, SC 29112, dropped off, or if local we have no problem coming to pick them up. If choosing to drop off or have us pick up you don't need to cut the proof of purchase we can take care of that for you. If you choose to mail to us, you will need to cut out the proof of purchase on the back of the bag. If there is no proof of purchase the UPC bar code will work as well. All Tribute feeds/forages proofs of purchase are accepted.

We got the feed room all cleaned up today! It truly needed to be done, but Theo really didn’t need to force me to do it lol.

We are forever thankful for all the donors that helped us get the feed replaced. We had to move it to the shed until I got the feed room cleaned up.

He sure was a naughty cow! We threw away a lot of stuff!! But one day we will look back at this and laugh! At least I hope so!
