We have received $44 in donations! Thank you all so much! That will get us 1 bale of hay! Yes it doesn’t sound like much, but it is to us.

We only need $156 more to be able to get the rest of the hay needed this week. We pick up today. Can you spare $5 or more to help us get our hay today?

We don’t like to ask for help, but we really need your help. Yes we know everyone is struggling and it’s just not easy anymore, we appreciate if you can only share!

Let’s share and see if we can reach our goal at least for today!

Sweetpea, one of our newest intakes would like to tell everyone something: Do you know what today is? It's $5 Friday! Can you donate just $5 to help our rescue animals get feed and hay for the rest of the month?

Our bare minimum expenses for the rest of the month are as follows:

Senior feed: $344.85
Alfalfa: $195
Coastal Hay: $600
Supplements: $70.98
Total need to cover the rest of the month: $1,210.83

We have 1,295 followers. If all of you just donated $1 we would have that money more than covered. You all should know us by now, we do not ask for any donations, unless we truly need it.

We have hit a rough patch and things are hard. They are hard for everyone. We are small, we get no state or government help and we do not have any large sponsors like some of the bigger rescues do. Also unlike, the bigger rescues, there are no paid personnel here. All the donations go directly to the care of the animals.

Can you donate just $1 or since its Friday, can you donate $5? We really could use the help. If you can't donate, please share! Someone else may be able to.

Today, as we reflect on the blessings in our lives, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for every person who has stood beside us this year. Whether you donated, adopted, shared our posts, volunteered your time, or simply cheered us on from afar—you’ve played a part in giving our horses a second chance at the life they deserve.

Because of your kindness, neglected and forgotten equines have found safety, healing, and hope here at the ranch. We are grateful for every soft muzzle, every gentle nicker, and every step forward our horses take—each one made possible by your support.

Thank you so much to all the donors and people that shared. We were able to cover the cost of the farrier and their dentals yesterday. We also received some extra donations, that money will go to their vet appointment to get them a good look over and get them current on vaccines.

🐴 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR OUR TWO NEW HAFLINGER RESCUES 🐴

This past Saturday, we took in two Haflinger, Teddy and Sweetpea. While they don’t look terrible on the outside, they’ve been without the consistent veterinary, dental, and farrier attention they desperately need.

Our most urgent need right now is to get their teeth done, hooves trimmed, and have them seen by a veterinarian. We have both the dentist and farrier scheduled to come Tuesday 11/11, and we desperately need funds to cover these appointments.

The mare is in the worst condition of the two. We’re unsure of her exact age, but she is already quidding hay, which means she’s struggling to chew and get proper nutrition. She’ll need alfalfa pellets and senior feed going forward to help her maintain her weight and comfort.

We don’t ask for help unless we truly need it — and right now, we do. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward their immediate care and help us get them on the road to recovery.

Teeth cost: $100 each
Farrier cost: $25 each
