Our second show for KA Performance Horses is in the books and we are very pleased with our two horses and riders at last Sundays show at MD Performance Horses! Ziva and Dude were top 6 in their classes and Briella and Stormy were also top 5 in their classes. We even went in the halter this go and Ziva and Dude earned a 4th out of 20! There is always strong competition at MD’s shows and we enjoy showing there. Our other rider, Rowan and Tess, were unable to join us for this last show unfortunately as Rowan was on an adventure! We are looking forward to our next go and have a few things to work on before then but all in all it was a good show!

What a fantastic way to start our show season this Sunday at the MD Performance Horses first show of the year! The winter solstice is over and we hit the show pen running! We are so proud of our 3 riders who were in the pen this weekend. Big shout out to Rowan and Tessa who earned Reserve Champion in the ranch classes and a first in showmanship in very crowded classes! Rowan and Tessa have put in the hard work and long hours of training and this Sunday it paid off! We also have Ziva and Dude, Briella and Stormy showing in the beginner western pleasure classes. Ziva and Dude in their second show together they earned 3rd, 4th, and 5th placings in there classes! Briella guided Stormy to two 3rd and a 6th in her first show with us on a halter and ranch horse! We are so proud of these 3 young ladies and excited to see where this show season takes us! We always have more work to do but these girls were shining on Sunday!

KA Performance Horses in Northampton PA is offering a opportunity for a reliable person(s) to work off lease or just lessons. This a great chance to work with horses learning everything from barn work, care, riding and beyond. This is how I got my start at Hope Lock Farm. If you want more than an hour riding this is something for you. Or if you don't have the resources to afford riding. Either way is a great opportunity. I have over 40 years in horses and I would love to share my experience.
For a lease I have a cute in your pocket gelding that needs to be ridden. He has not been ridden in a while. Has been ridden dressage.

We have flexible options available to fit in your schedule. Morning time is best we have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday open. Some weekends to fill in. The right person needs to have some experience with horses, reliable transportation and references.

KA Performance Horses, located in Northampton, PA, has lease opportunities available. Please note that leases are for on-farm use only. Our solid appaloosa gelding is suited for English disciplines and requires a rider with experience. He has potential for lower-level dressage and is a friendly, affectionate horse. Furthermore, we have a miniature gelding available for in-hand trail, games, showmanship, and driving, requiring an experienced handler. However, we can teach you to drive him. He is fun to drive.
