Ringo in his chariot!
My dog, Ringo, will be 16 years old in a couple weeks. He doesn't have any eyes (lost to Glaucoma), is deaf, has terrible arthritis (CBD is helping!), has had both back ACLs 'repaired', and needs to wear a diaper (for obvious reasons, even though I take him out every 2-3 hours). He can still hobble around, but can't go on long walks with my wife and me and our younger dog, Maisie anymore. So, for the past two years I've been taking him with us on our walks in his very own chariot. He loves the scents, and feeling the breeze in his hair. It's a joy to be able to include him. In addition to his 'walks', he still loves his food and kissing like crazy!
Anything we can do to make our furry family members happy is worth it. Thinking of the vast love and joy they bring us makes any sacrifice seem insignificant. Especially as they near the end of their life.
Thank you to everyone who treats their elderly or difficult to take care of dogs with patience and love. This is when they need us the most.
