Courtesy post for the amazing special needs Misha -
Misha's dad passed away suddenly and she is heartbroken. She misses her snuggles and cuddle sessions.
Her dad's family took Misha in but she isn't doing well with all of the commotion from the other dogs and cats. Misha is 7 yrs young and likes children.
Misha suffers from megacolon but it is managed well with medications which she happily takes in her food.
The NSPCA and the Florence Animal Clinic will cover vet care for the first year to help Misha and her new family acclimate to one another.

Fig and Olive were dumped in Williamsburg, , Olive with her 2 young kittens, Fig, just days from giving birth. All of them were malnourished, covered in fleas and ticks after surviving in the woods for over a week.
Fortunately for them, good people found them in time and brought them to rescue.

The following day, Fig gave birth 2 kittens, Twig and Poppy, at the Florence Animal Clinic.
These 2 bonded sisters took turns mothering, nursing and raising Twig and Poppy and now they are ready to be the centers of your world.
Olive is playful, happy and adventurous while. Fig is loving and affectionate. They adore eachother and deserve to stay together.

Introducing the last of 6 kittens rescued by a community of cat lovers in Florence.
Meet Oliver and Sushi.
Oliver is bold. Usually the first to warm up. Purrs all the time. Sushi is more shy and follows what Oliver does, but will give his fair share of purrs and snuggles. They love to run, jump and play.. Sushi has a penchant for human food ;)
These brothers are used to dogs, cats and calm cat savy children.
Their adoption includes their neuter, microchip, core vaccines, and preventative.

Meet Poppy and Twig. This dynamic duo were born at the Florence Animal Clinic one day after their mom was rescued. They have been so fortunate to have been raised in a loving home with their mom and her sister (also rescued) tending to them .

Soot and Picchu are small 6 week old sisters that are looking for an indoor home together. These girls have been bottle fed for the past 3 wks after a good samaritan found them in their shed. They are great with other cats.. They will be ready to go in 2 weeks with 2-3 follow up vet visits required and included in their adoption.

Soot is snuggly and affectionate and loves the cuddles whereas Picchu is loving.but has places to be and things to do. They really balance eachother out and take a lot of comfort from one another.

Found Cat - West St (bottom of hospital hill) Northampton on May 17. No microchip but she does appear to have a spay scar. Northampton Animal Control has been notified. If you think you recognize this cat, please contact In Honey's Memory Shelter 413 667 0049 or message us to connect you.

Found cat - Orchard St, Easthampton. This handsome but cautious intact male invited himself into a good samaritan's house over the winter where they graciously gave him food and comfort on the days he needed it. They posted him locally as a found cat, but an owner never came forward.
We are posting him once more to make sure no one is looking for him before he is set up for rehoming

UPDATE - Owner located. This was an elderly indoor cat that had accidebtally.gotten out. Thank goodness the good sams stepped in.

Does anyone recognize this cat?
A good samaritan found this very sweet kitty on Cottage st near Comics n More last night Seems well loved but scared. Due to inclement weather they kindly took the cat in and are trying to find the owner.

Yesterday's beautiful weather was a reminder, that ticks are out and about.
Don't let your dog hide away, make sure they stay on flea, tick and heartworm prevention to keep them safe.

The NSPCA is so grateful to Valerie Crow, the Florence Animal Clinic and the Cat Hospital for the love and care they have all shown forever foster Owen for the past year.

Owen was part of our forever foster program where together with supporting vets, the NSPCA supports the medical costs for homeless cats and dogs that deserve to find their forever home but may require more medical care and financial support than typical.

Owen was put to sleep today after a brief illness 5 months shy of his 19th birthday. He had just celebrated his 1 year anniversary with Valerie and we are all so thankful for the time, love and care he was given.

Donations in his memory or in memory of your loved one can be made to The Northampton Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to help more animals like Owen.

Update - not surprising, we have received a lot of interest with this girl so we are going to put her as adoption pending. If this changes, we will update this post again
Please note, there are many other amazing and affectionate cats and kittens looking for homes that aren't getting all the attention Anala has but are just as deserving.

This little nugget is looking for a home with at least one brother or sister to play with. Anala is the complete package; super affectionate with people, but also a great companion to other cats.
At 4 months old, Anala's adoption includes her spay, microchip, core vaccines, flea prevention, deworming, felv/fiv test and an infinite supply of purrs and cuddles.

Here is what his caretaker has to say about him 💜
Phillip, 5 yr old neutered male up to date on vet care, is looking for a new home. I was temporarily watching him for my brother who is no longer able to take him back, and unfortunately I can't keep him. He's super social and cuddly, great with kids and other animals, but may do best in a home where he is the only cat or is paired with a submissive/disinterested cat. I am open to trial periods to see if he's a good fit for your home. Please keep in mind that, like any cat in a new place, he will need some time to adjust to his new surroundings!

Forever home wanted for this amazing 10 yr old brother and sister pair. This great cat balance of personalities (sister is a lap cat, brother is more independent) lost their dad last October and their mom went into hospice this past July. They have been living alone in the home with family checking in on them but that is no way to live so In Honey's Memory and the Northampton SPCA stepped in.
Now we need your help to share their story and find this pair their forever home. Florence Animal Clinic has brought the siblings up to date on vaccines, bloodwork was done and they were given a clean bull of health.

Fall is time for pumpkin spice - something sweet and warming as the days get cooler. Fall is also time for this little pumpkin to find her new forever home.

At just 10 months old, Lady, a shepherd lab mix is eager to please. She is happiness and enthusiastic about life (no matter the season) Do you want to hike and admire the changing foliage? She is ready to go. Jogging more your speed? Even better. Have a dog friend that needs a play buddy? She is up for a romp and zoomies in the yard and gets on well with.other dogs. She hasn't met a cat yet, so we cannot say how she would do. And while maybe a bit too active for little humans, Lady hasn't met a kid she doesn't like so we feel families with dogs experienced children may be considered.

This Lady is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and preventative. If you would like more information or to arrange a meet and greet, please feel free to pm us and we will pass along your information.

FAC is proud to work with the Northampton SPCA and In Honey's Memory (IHM) by providing the veterinary care for some of the homeless cats in the area. We are featuring this bonded pair of sisters who are still looking for their forever home
These girls were born in a foster home on June 5th. Adoptions include core vaccines, microchip, spaying, felv/fiv test, revolution and a lifetime of happiness.
