The Town of Huntington is asking our community to consider donating to our Animal Shelters! Whether your puppy has lost its way or an animal needs a home, the Town of Huntington Animal Shelter is here to help. A division of Huntington's Public Safety Department and primary provider of the Town's animal-related services.

The Animal Shelter’s responsibilities include: sheltering stray and unwanted animals; reconnecting lost pets with owners; administering the dog adoption program; staffing the shelter's volunteer program; community outreach and education on animal care and behavior; enforcing Huntington’s animal control ordinances.

The Huntington Animal Shelter & Adoption Center staff are dedicated to helping the homeless pets in our township. We are proud of the fact that over 94% of the animals that come to us are saved because of the implementation of adoption and training programs.
