Welcome to Karen's Kennels!

We are a family-owned hobby breeder, located in Northport, Alabama. We specialize in Lhasa Apso, Maltese and Miniature Schnauzer puppies, which are AKC registered. All of our puppies will come with limited registration unless otherwise discussed, for full AKC registration an additional $300 fee will be required.

My husband, John, and I bought about 20 acres of land where we built a big barn and put my kennels next to it. We raise buffalo and chickens, and we also have fish in our pond.

We have 4 children, grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren--they love to come to the farm and see all the animals!

I have been raising puppies for over 40 years and have met a lot of nice people. I have also had several come back to me to buy a second puppy! All of my dogs used in the breeding process are quality, healthy dogs.
