Hot Diggity Doggie Camp At Hot Diggity Doggie Camp, we are committed to providing a safe and fun social environment for your dog while you are at work or away from home.

To enroll, request a camp application by email ([email protected])and bring it to us along with proof of vaccinations. Then, schedule a time for your pet to visit. There is no charge for the first visit. Our camp is a place for young dogs to socialize and have fun. Some older dogs really enjoy it too, but it is not for everybody. If your dog doesn't like being around other dogs, or is elderl

y, he/she may be better off at home with a pet sitter, or at the vet that they are used to going to. Remember, you want to do what is best for your pet. At the camp, dogs play together, play with us, and sometimes just mill around. There are separate play areas for small/large dogs, or for dogs with different play styles. Dogs sleep in crates or runs at night. They may be crated for a nap in the middle of the day. We will provide food for a fee, or you may bring your own. If you bring your own food, please put it in a baggie with your dog's name on it and directions on how much food and how often to feed them. Hot Diggity Doggie Camp is a place your dog can run around with other dogs, chase balls, jump in the baby pools, and hang out in the playroom. There is a small dog play area in the back. A human stays overnight on site to ensure a safe and restful night. Please have your dog on a leash coming and going. STERILIZING: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered. SHOTS: All dogs must be in good health and up to date on all shots. They must have had a bordatella (kennel cough) shot in the past six months. A copy of the shot record must be included. Your dog must also be on a flea/tick/heartworm preventative. BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive. They must not show any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dog. Please remember that your dog will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all dogs is our main concern. VISIT: All dogs must have one or two scheduled visits to see if they are happy at doggie camp. You will want to check it out too! VET CARE: If your dog requires a vet, he/she will be taken to the vet you use if possible. If it is near closing time, or an emergency, we will take your dog to the closest vet to be treated. You are responsible for the expenses. DAILY ROUTINE:

6:00 - Breakfast

8-12 - Playtime

12-2 - Naptime

2-4 - Playtime

4:00 - Dinner

5-8 - Playtime

In order for your dog to stay at Hot Diggity Doggie Camp, there is some information that we would like to have about your pet. We would like you to take the time to give us a full personality profile of your pet so that we can provide them with the best care possible while they are here. Be as detailed as you would like about their favorite games and even favorite places to be petted. This form can be requested by email. ([email protected])

Reservations are required for boarding. Please call as soon as possible to book your time. Have a back-up plan in case we are already at full capacity. If you have any questions email us @ [email protected]. We are located at 1300 Martin Rd East in Northport, Alabama 35473. We look forward to meeting you and your canine companion. We also offer Dog Training Services through HDDC BARK University! We have several programs for all different types of dogs. Our requirements are different for each program. Services we offer:

Puppy Kindergarten: For puppies 83 months old to 4 months old

Levels Training: For Dogs 5 months and older. Basic to advanced obedience skills. Board and Train Program: For Dogs 5 months and Older. No Jump Seminar: For Dogs 5 months and Older

🚨 URGENT: We Need Fosters & Adopters NOW! 🚨

Yesterday, in just two hours, 11 dogs were brought in through animal control—and counting! Our shelter is over capacity, and we are begging for your help!!

We know yesterday was Valentine’s Day—a day of love, but we are begging you to please spay and neuter your pets and keep them from roaming. If you’re missing an animal, please COME IN PERSON to do a walk-through ASAP. We are open 12 PM - 6 PM today!

📢 The dogs in this photo are newly arrived strays and CANNOT be adopted or fostered at this time. The only way we can make space for them is by getting our adoptable dogs into loving homes! You can view them on our website.

💙 If you can foster or adopt, NOW is the time. Please don’t wait for a question to be answered online or for a call back—just come down to the shelter. Our staff is overwhelmed, and your presence makes a difference.
