SAFE!!!!

We are seeking help locating a missing foster puppy who is the legal property of Rescue Network. Trey was last in the care of Inesha Jackson of Minneapolis, who provided false information on her foster application. She is currently claiming the puppy is lost, but we have reason to believe that may not be the case. Trey is about 4 months old and 25 pounds.

We are deeply concerned for Trey's safety and wellbeing, and we fear he may have been sold or placed elsewhere. A reward is being offered for his safe return—no questions asked.

Law enforcement has already visited the property connected to this situation, but both Inesha and Trey were not present at the time.

If you have any information about Trey’s whereabouts or unknowingly purchased or received him, please contact us immediately. Our sole concern is bringing him home safely.
Thank you for your help and support.

They’re baaccckkkkk 🤬
If you haven’t started flea/tick prevention NOW IS THE TIME!
It’s also a good time to talk with your veterinarian to be sure vaccinations are current.

Unfortunately TICK season has begun. This teeny tiny little vector found his way into the clinic along with the sunshine we have all been looking for.

Woodticks and deer ticks are out and about so now is the time to start your preventative. We recommend oral flea and TICK preventative for most pets but also have topical options for the instances it is needed.

Lyme disease (along with anaplasma and erhlichia) used to be something we said we didn’t have in North Dakota. Unfortunately the deer ticks didn’t honor the Minnesota border and have crept their way in. Lyme vaccine is recommended for all of our canines now to help protect them, along with year round preventatives. Deer ticks are active if it’s 21 F or warmer out and go in and out of dormancy with ease. If you’d like to get your dog vaccinated for Lyme give us a call and we would be happy to get you scheduled. 701-683-4686.

If your pet gets sprayed by a skunk, resist the urge to rinse them off! Water can set the odor into their fur, making it harder to remove. Instead, use this simple de-skunking solution:

🧴 DIY Skunk Odor Remover:
✅ 1 quart hydrogen peroxide (3%)
✅ ¼ cup baking soda
✅ 1 teaspoon dish soap (like Dawn)

🚿 How to Use It:
🔹 Apply to dry fur first—this helps break down the oils.
🔹 Let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
🔹 Repeat if needed, but don’t store the mixture—it loses effectiveness fast!

⚠️ Did you know? Skunks are one of the top carriers of rabies. If your pet has an unexpected run-in with a skunk, make sure they’re up to date on their rabies vaccine for their safety! If you’re unsure, give us a call. 🏥🐾
