Everyone meet Karen! She may look familiar to some of you, as she was adopted from us about 7 years ago. She lived in a loving home for the past 7 years until her owner recently passed away. Karen is adjusting to her drastic change in life style, but would love to be back in a home.
Karen will need a new family that is patient with her and can give her space when needed. She is not a cat that you’ll be able to hold, hug, and kiss. She enjoys just being in your company and the occasional pet. We are convinced the meme “Pet me. With your eyes!” was made about her. She’s a chatty lady with a big personality. She does well with dogs and cats that won’t antagonize her, but should not be in a home with young children. If you’re interested in Karen please reach out to Northwood Vet (603-942-8368) and ask for Michelle.

Our veterinary team from Northwood Veterinary Hospital emphasizes being careful with treats for your pets during the holiday season. The holiday season often means more treats around the house, but not all are safe for your pets. Avoid giving your dog foods like chocolate, grapes, or anything sweetened with xylitol. Instead, opt for pet-friendly treats, like pumpkin biscuits or small pieces of plain cooked turkey. Contact us if you have any questions about pet nutrition. northwoodveterinary.com

💔 During a heat cycle, pets may be more vocal and bleed excessively, which can be distressing for both you and your furry friend.

In the wild, cats hide their prey from predators, and indoor cats consider their food and water dishes as the safest areas in their territory.
