Happy Tuesday, everyone! It's the final Sylvania Farmer's Market of the season tonight, and we're here till 7 this evening.

We still have some Jalapenos, Tabasco peppers, Bell Peppers, Pepprocini, small Eggplant, and Tomatillos!

Thank you all for the wonderful season, and we hope to grow for you next season, and in the seasons to come!

Its an awefully nice, warm day for the month of October; and we're here at the Sylvania Farmer's Market in Olander Park!

We'll be here from 4-7pm, and this is the next to last market of the season. Hope to see you!

Had another great night at the Sylvania Farmers Market. We have some fresh produce still available! Let me know if you want some I can deliver, we can meet up or you can pick up whatever is easier for you. We have:

Hey y'all, its sure been nice getting some rain (although I wasnt missing the humidity, haha). So we're out here at the Sylvania Farmer's Market today till 7!

We're currently harvesting Chard, Kale, Mustard Greens, Collards, Snow & Shell Peas, and Raspberries (maybe a few hold-out strawberries).
We do still have some Chard and some Collards left; but as always, there'll be more next week!

Hopefully we'll have Cherry Tomatoes and zuchinni next week, looking forward to that!

It has been a busy few past weeks. We moved over 500 apple trees. Planted 60 peach and 60 cherry trees. Got all of our produce transplanted and have been having to water the pants since we have had no rain. Rowan was a huge help in making mud pies! Our blackberries and raspberries are getting a ton of blooms on them also!!!

We had a busy weekend and had some help! My dad and Matt's mom came out to help and of course Rowan was a big help. We worked on moving our apple trees to get them to produce better. Planted 300 strawberry plants, 30 black berry plants and a fee raspberry plants. We also moved some of our raspberry crowns. Next week we are transplanting all the the produce plants we started from seed.

We have been busy these past couple of weeks. Got a lot of our produce planted. Trying a few new things this year. We had some help from our little guy Rowan. He loves to help plant the seeds in the dirt and drive the tractor with dad ❤️

We're getting ready for the 2023 farming season. Getting our seeds started for the farm. We're adding few new vegetables, and flowers to our farm this year! So excited for the season to be starting up again! Make sure to follow us for more info.

The Red Bird Sylvania Farmer's Market is starting it's SNAP Produce Perks program this coming Tuesday!

Customers with an EBT card may go to the Red Bird Sylvania Farmers Market Information Tent (it's a red tend near the entrance, you can't miss it!) and trade EBT funds for tokens to be spent at produce/foodstuffs vendors at the market. The Produce Perks Program will match the amount of funds exchanged, up to $25 per market. So if you exchange $25 in EBT funds, you get $50 in tokens to spend at the market! This affords those who need it great buying power to buy the fresh foods we all need!

What is Produce Perks?

- Produce Perks is a project of Produce Perks Midwest, a nonprofit based in Cincinnati. Their goal is to get healthier food for local families while supporting local farmers. Matching funding comes from private foundations from here in Northwest Ohio.

The Tokens roll over week to week, so please, come out on Tuesday, 4-7, at the parking lot across from St. Joseph Catholic Church; and visit the vendors of the Sylvania Farmer's Market!
