Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!
Vitalize Seed and their Carbon Load for both the pumpkin patch and garden cover crop this year. The patch is open, so deer browse can also be monitored, with hopes of using this blend to improve future livestock pastures and to create dedicated food plots in the near future!
Ty and I set out earlier this spring for a tack box for fair. Just a small father/son project that we could do before baseball started and the weather turned. Little did we know what we'd stumble upon in short order. A simple marketplace ad led us to a really unquie property just down the road, and I thought both were a good story to share.

A retired dairy farm, wood shop, and gift shop with a ton of character. Instantly after introductions to the family member selling, you could just sense the pride and could only be left to imagine what it was back in its prime. I think you were one of the lucky ones if you ever visited while in operation!
We chatted some more about what once was, I paid for the 69yr old Lane cedar chest and hauled it home. After some quick inspection, I realized it had a couple of coats of paint on it. Ty and I discussed potential finishing options but what was underneath would ultimately dictate.
Well, a quick project turned into a stalled project. Life, sports and summer were quickly upon us and the box sat idle for weeks. As fair approached, the task at hand was completed and it grew into a father/mother/son project.....too good!
Egg sales will resume the week of 4/8, thank you all for your continued support!
The coop finally has residents. Thank you Bralkili Farms for the healthy pullets, these ladies are the start of our new flock here at Notta-Lotta Acres.
