Do your dogs like snuffle mats? It’s such a great way to provide enrichment for your dog. I got this cute pizza mat at HomeGoods for $14.99! My dogs loved it - almost as good as real pizza!

I just wanted to share this awesome memorial rock that my friend Sarah Braley Wigen did for our dog, Mac, who we lost about 4 years ago. 💓 She does such a wonderful job! And the "cost" of the rocks is a free will donation to any charitable organization which I think is such a cool idea.

Freddie has had all of his puppy shots so it's time for some field trips! We went shopping at HomeGoods & look where we ended up....😂🐷. We met some new people and experienced some new things -- the automatic doors didn't even phase him. Don't forget to take your puppies (and older dogs!) out & about with you!

Anyone curious about coursing or Fast Cats? The Iowa Coursing Association is offering fun runs this Sunday, August 1st at Des Moines Waterworks Park starting at 1:30 PM. We'll also be offering CGC and Trick Dog testing. Stop by and check it out! It looks like the weather will be nice! ☀️

We love senior dogs!! Just because they are older doesn’t mean they don’t like to play! Check out Walter (an almost 14 year old standard dachshund) barn hunting for the first time-he rocked it! 🐀🐀🐀

If you are looking for a different place to walk your dogs, try the Jordan Creek Mall area around the pond. It's a great place for distraction work - with the geese and their babies.....and all the different smells! And there's some really pretty purple flowers for pictures too! :)

We are so happy for Frankie, our mini chocolate dachshund foster! He is happy & settled with his parents and fur siblings in his awesome new home!

Meet Frankie, our new foster dog! He is a 4 year old mini chocolate dachshund. We are having a little fun and getting him used to new environments and playing with the group. :) Frankie will be available through http://www.c2cdr.org/ once his vetting is done and he's ready to look for a new family!
