We are a true no-kill shelter, and will do whatever we can, however long it takes, to find suitable, loving homes for the animals in our care. PAWS is a no kill shelter that has been helping homeless animals since 1962. We have Cats and Dogs for adoption, 12-4pm Tuesday thru Sunday! You do need an appointment to visit now, and you must be an approved adopter.

country. Dior seems to get along with other cats. He is pretty perfect but does not like to have his belly rubbed! Dior is FIV+. Cats with FIV can have lower immune responses so they really benefit from great vet care, proper nutrition and always being indoors. FIV is usually transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds. All of these cats live in open rooms with other non-FIV+ cats and will be a great addition to ANY home. Dior is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for you to take him home! National Yorkie Day. Lucky is part Yorkie and after his grooming he looks almost 100% Yorkie.

Lucky has a few adoption applications, but if you are ready for adoption, complete an adoption application at https://www.pawsct.org/adoption-application. We hold approved applications for a year. So if you are looking for a Yorkie, or a small breed dog, like Lucky, who knows another one could come into our care almost any time. Note: adoptions are by appointment only for approved applicants, no walk ins.

Sleek, shiny, gorgeous Grimm is quite the looker. Grimm has a huge personality! Grimm is affectionate, playful and full of spirit as any young boy should be. Grimm was born to a backyard breeder situation. The breeder did not disclose to adopters that the parents were FIV+. Grimm has also tested positive but is young and has a great outlook. Cats with FIV can have lower immune responses so they really benefit from great vet care, proper nutrition and always being indoors. FIV is usually transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds.
