🐾 Meet Desiree, our dedicated vet assistant who brings passion and expertise to our team! 🐾

One of Desiree’s favorite parts of the job is witnessing pets recover and thrive, which makes every moment spent educating pet parents incredibly rewarding. She’s skilled in placing IV catheters, collecting blood samples, and providing wound care, ensuring that every furry friend receives the best possible care.

At home, Desiree shares her life with an adorable crew: her dog Merlin, two cats Leilah and Aegon, and a lively bunch of reptiles! She’s got four leopard geckos—Billy, Cece, Tiffany, and MangoTangoRango—as well as a bearded dragon named Smaug, a frilled dragon named Ned, two axolotls (Hermes and Lucifer), and two green tree frogs (Verde and Midoori). Quite the menagerie, right? 😅

When she’s not caring for animals, Desiree loves exploring botanical gardens and hunting for the best matcha spots. She has a thing for all things spooky, especially since her birthday falls on Halloween! 🎃 Her strong-minded determination shines through in her work, especially when she feels that sense of pride and appreciation. A highlight for her was when Dr. Lee was thoroughly impressed with her surgical prep skills during an orthopedic procedure.

Desiree’s passion for pet care and her love for animals make her an invaluable member of our team. We’re lucky to have her! 🐶🐱🦎✨

🐾 Meet Veronica, our amazing vet assistant ! 🌟

One of her favorite parts of the job? Witnessing sick or injured pets leave the hospital, healthy and happy, ready to go home with their families. Her heart especially beats for cats and kittens, but her love for animals doesn’t stop there!

Fun fact: Veronica once owned a llama and a hedgehog! Today, her home is filled with love for her two Cornish Rex cats, Vixen and Eeva, along with three ball pythons—Juju, Zira, and Vitani. She also cares for a tortoise named Beetz and three vibrant parrots: Tim Birdton, Kelly, and Canelo.

One of her most memorable moments? Successfully intubating a critical patient when others had difficulty. Her dedication and skill truly make a difference in the lives of the pets she cares for! ❤️

🌟 Meet Adrian, our amazing vet assistant ! 🌟

Known as the “gentle giant” of the practice, Adrian brings not only his expertise but also a warm heart to our furry patients. His favorite part of the job? Making a real difference in a pet’s life, one paw at a time.

Adrian is an expert in restraining techniques, ensuring that every patient feels safe and cared for during their visit. He also excels in IV placement, showcasing his skill and precision.

When he’s not at the clinic, Adrian is a big football fan, cheering on his favorite teams. Fun fact: he was the winner of the 2022 All-American Rugby and a National Rugby Champion! 🏉

One of his most memorable moments in his veterinary career was recalling his very first jugular venipuncture, a milestone that highlights his dedication and growth in the field.

🎉🐾 **Celebrating Kimberly: Our Amazing Vet Assistant !** 🐾🎉

Today marks a special milestone for our practice as we celebrate Kimberly’s 5-year anniversary! 🎊 Her dedication and passion for animal care shine through in everything she does.

Kimberly lives for wagging tails and purring approvals, earning her the title of our animal whisperer. With three cats Molly, Nala & Venus and a Cocker Spaniel named Orejas at home, she knows how to create a loving environment for all pets.

Beyond her veterinary skills, Kimberly is also incredibly talented with arts and crafts, bringing a touch of creativity to our team. Fun fact: as a kid, she had pet rocks because her family didn’t allow pets—who knew those rocks would lead to such a compassionate vet tech?

Kind, responsible, and dependable, Kimberly calls every pet patient “friend,” making them feel special and loved. We are so grateful to have her on our team, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things she will continue to accomplish!

When it comes to repairing fractures, the choice of fixation method in fracture surgeries often depends on the specific type and complexity of the fracture. Pins, plates, screws, and wires each have their advantages and are chosen based on factors like the location of the fracture, the stability needed, and the patient’s overall health. This little guy’s repair was challenging but using a combination of these methods we were able to provide the best support for healing. Now with a little patience and a lot of love he is on the road to recovery.
