🐶 Announcement & Upcoming Maternity Leave 🐶

I’m excited to share that I am expecting a baby in early 2026! 💙

Looking ahead, I’ll be taking maternity leave (tentatively) during February and March. It’s still a while away, but I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice as we head into the busy months!

While I’m out, Jocelyn will continue grooming her regular clients and may be able to fit in a few of mine. Most of my clients will either need to wait until I return in April or make other arrangements during that time.

We know many of you have been asking, but as of right now we are not scheduling into the new year just yet. We will begin opening those appointments starting next month.

✨ If you’ve already filled out our intake form, you will automatically be booked.
✨ If you have not filled out the form yet, please use the link below to do so.
✨ If you’d prefer not to be automatically booked, our online booking is open up to 3 months in advance.

• At this time, we are only accepting small breed new clients.
• Large breeds are not being taken at this time.

Confession time: Sometimes I really hate my job.

It’s not the long hours, the sore back, or even the occasional bite from a scared pup. It’s those heartbreaking calls, texts, or cancelled appointments telling me a beloved dog has passed on.

It’s a strange thing, loving so many dogs that aren’t mine, caring deeply about their health, safety, and wellbeing when I only see them every eight weeks. When I started this career, I had no idea just how connected I’d become, how many tears I’d shed, or how many goodbyes I’d miss. One moment, I’m grooming a friend and the next, I’m quietly sobbing because I see their age and wonder if this might be our last time together.

Sometimes, I’m afraid clients might think I’m crazy for mourning alongside them, grieving their loss like it’s my own. But the truth is, when your dog is with me, they’re not just a client, they’re a companion, a friend. When you lose them, we lose them too. Maybe it isn’t exactly the same, but their absence leaves a hole in our hearts as well.

We’ve said goodbye to many incredible pups this year, and I know we’ll face more losses in the future. So why do I keep coming back?

Because as much as I hate this job sometimes, I love it even more. The wagging tails, wet noses, the special trust built between groomer and dog, the unique quirks each pup shares with me. There’s a connection pet parents often don’t get to see, and it’s beautiful.

It’s an odd reality: to work with animals, you need compassion, sensitivity, and love, yet those are the very qualities make the job incredibly tough.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything else and I will continue to be grateful for each day I am trusted with these animals.

Here’s everything you need to know to make your next visit smooth and stress-free:

🕗 Business Hours:
We’re open Wednesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

💅 Walk-In Nail Trims:
No appointment needed—just stop by between 9 AM and 2 PM on those days!

🐶 New Client Policy:
We are no longer accepting new large breed clients at this time.

💻 Booking:
The fastest way to book is through our online system!

🚨 Safety First:
For the safety of your pet and others in our care, all dogs must be on a leash when entering the building.

⏰ Cancellation & Late Policy:
We understand that life happens, but to respect everyone’s time:

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will be charged 25% of the service cost.

If you are 15 minutes or more late, you’ll need to reschedule, and the missed appointment will also be charged a 25% cancellation fee.
