We are looking to add to our team and currently have a vacancy for a veterinary assistant.
Duties include:
-Assisting Veterinarian with office visits and exams
-Dispensing medications, assisting with diagnostic procedures, medical treatments and surgery preparations
-Assisting Receptionist with scheduling appointments, telephone communication and customer service
Essential Skills:
-A love for animals and the ability to warmly welcome and compassionately care for a wide variety of pets and their owners
-Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service
-Positive energetic attitude with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
-Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover the hospital's open hours, including Saturdays
Required Experience:
-Experience of working in a veterinary hospital and/or completion of a Veterinary Science or Veterinary Assistant program is essential

Preferably no sheets/pillow cases, but we’re happy with whatever you’d like to pass along to our furry friends!
