This week, the Wagster bakery welcomes Pedro! Just last month, he was serving his final exam menu and completing his culinary training in the program supported by Wagster sales.

We have a new face in the Wagster bakery today! Patrick took a break from preparing meals for shelter and housing programs to join in sorting, weighing, sealing and boxing fresh treats for our retail partners.

Larger ovens for Wagster means baking has picked up speed. As orders continue to grow, we look forward to adding opportunities on our team for more people building skills to create sustainable career paths. And it's always a pleasure to serve more pets and their parents with wholesome, tasty treats!

Our team loves sharing treats with fellow dog-loving organizations! Lead baker Lily got to meet and greet today with dogs at Beyond Rescue, which serves families with pets who are struggling with the housing crisis.

Their mission resonates with us: to keep pets and people together if possible or assist transitions to forever homes when necessary. They're one of several local rescue groups that receive "broken bones" from Wagster -- the treats not quite perfect enough to go in the bag. Donating is one more way to share the wholesome goodness of our all natural treats!
