All These Faces, All These Souls
Have you watched Rescue Village's 2024 Rescue Video, "All These Faces, All These Souls," yet? This inspiring video captures what Rescue Village does for animals and their people daily, 365 days a year. We hope you like it and will share it widely.
A special thank you goes to the Newbury Volunteer Fire Department's Chief Ken Fagan and Lt. Jeremy Sustar, Matt Wintz, Stephanie Sybrandt, and their family, including Atticus, Steve Tosi, and Harley, for participating in Rescue Village's work and in this video. Also, thanks to the director of photography, Andrew Starr, and all the RV staff who worked to make this video.
Squirrel came from one of hardest places imaginable. RVs humane officers saved this petite cat, along with 7 other cats, from a house full of toxic fumes, feces and fleas. He’s doing so much better since his rescue and now he needs someone to adopt him.
Guess what’s behind the curtain? These shy youngsters have learned that people = getting food. #mysterypets #RescueVillage #humanesociety #rescueanimals #smallcritters #foodtime #squeak #peep

It’s 2024 and Rescue Village’s Cat Pavilion is full again! Thanks to everyone who helped clear our shelter last year and for all the amazing donations. www.rescuevilllage.org
What an amazing month of adoptions at Rescue Village. All the adult cats have been adopted all at once! Wow!
UPDATE: Pierre was adopted Saturday 12/16!
Pierre was the life of the party at the annual Arborwear holiday celebration. He was loved on by dozens of people and maybe one of those people will adopt him! His life has been hard - he came to RV from an area dog warden, underweight and at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Certainly Rescue Village is a far better temporary home but shelter stress is wearing on this 6 year old.
UPDATE: Jon Jon was adopted on 12/12!!!
9-month-old Jon Jon has been waiting at the shelter for 2 1/2 months for his forever playmate to come adopt him 😢. This handsome fellow was a bit shy when he first arrived but has been coming out of his shell ever since🥰. He absolutely loves to play! Feather wands are his favorite but really any toy he can chase and bat at will do. Jon Jon has lived with other cats😺 so he would probably enjoy a feline friend in his new home. He may be a wallflower at first but given a little time this boy’s playful, sweet personality will certainly shine🐾✨. If Jon Jon sounds like the cat for you, come in to meet him anytime during adoption hours.
And don't forget, all adoption fees for dogs and cats are currently sponsored thanks to Embrace Pet Insurance's Embrace the Love campaign! 🙌🙌
You can see our full list of adoptable animals on our website, www.rescuevillage.org/adopt
🎉🎊Good news!!!🎉🎊 Embrace Pet Insurance is making the holiday and winter season brighter and warmer by sponsoring adoption fees for kittens, cats, puppies and dogs at Rescue Village through December until funding lasts!
A portion of the funding provided by Embrace Pet Insurance covers the essential medical care for animals at Rescue Village before they are adopted, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new homes.
💖Thanks to Embrace Pet Insurance, more animals can find a loving home for the holidays💖
