Lovely, laid-back Lauren has been waiting patiently for a new home for about 2 months now. She came to Rescue Village from a local cat rescue that had no more space. Lauren is very calm in the shelter environment and loves getting attention. She doesn't really care to play, but she would be the perfect lap cat!
At 7 years old, Lauren is on a special diet that will need to continue in her new home. Stop in to meet Lauren or visit www.rescuevillage.org/adopt for more information. Rescue Village is open Wed-Thursday from 12-6:30 pm and Fri-Sunday from 12-4pm.
Milkdud, the adoptable steer is getting adopted!
Milkdud is going home tomorrow! He came to Rescue Village underweight, from a nearby Humane Society’s humane case that we helped with. This video is one of several times I ran to one end of the paddock to the other to play with this beloved, social steer. This guy loves dogs and people, and the best part is he will have other barn animals to live with at his new adoptive home.
⭐️Meet Skylar⭐️ our poster pup for the #EmbraceCLE Challenge! She's been waiting for a home far too long, despite how she tries to make passers-by notice her by greeting them with a toy in her mouth to increase the cuteness factor!😀❤
Affectionate and playful, 6 year old Skyler balances her silly antics with cozy cuddle sessions making her the ideal partner for both fun and relaxation. She is 50 pounds of pure love!
Visit www.rescuevillage.org/adopt to learn more about Skylar. If you can't adopt, please consider donating to the #EmbraceCLE Community Challenge today at https://givebutter.com/RescueVillage2024 and help us compete -- the nonprofit that raises the most is eligible for a grand prize of $15,000, so let's go Team RV!

All These Faces, All These Souls
Have you watched Rescue Village's 2024 Rescue Video, "All These Faces, All These Souls," yet? This inspiring video captures what Rescue Village does for animals and their people daily, 365 days a year. We hope you like it and will share it widely.
A special thank you goes to the Newbury Volunteer Fire Department's Chief Ken Fagan and Lt. Jeremy Sustar, Matt Wintz, Stephanie Sybrandt, and their family, including Atticus, Steve Tosi, and Harley, for participating in Rescue Village's work and in this video. Also, thanks to the director of photography, Andrew Starr, and all the RV staff who worked to make this video.
Squirrel came from one of hardest places imaginable. RVs humane officers saved this petite cat, along with 7 other cats, from a house full of toxic fumes, feces and fleas. He’s doing so much better since his rescue and now he needs someone to adopt him.
Guess what’s behind the curtain? These shy youngsters have learned that people = getting food. #mysterypets #RescueVillage #humanesociety #rescueanimals #smallcritters #foodtime #squeak #peep

What an amazing month of adoptions at Rescue Village. All the adult cats have been adopted all at once! Wow!
