Our program is looking for some volunteers over the winter months of December - March. We need assistance with barn chores, feeding, groom work and basic excercise for our horses.

Thanks to everyone who came to our Halloween Barn Night 10/30 at Misty’s Mission Stables 🎃 We had a blast and the kids loved getting the glow sticks ready for their rides with the horses!

This World Mental Health Day, we recognize the healing power of horses. 🐴💚 Spending time with horses can lower stress, increase mindfulness, and improve overall well-being.

Remember, it’s okay to reach out for help—whether it’s through a friend, a professional, or spending time in the saddle.

Hiring
Misty’s Mission Stables in Nowthen is looking to hire an assistant horse trainer and riding instructor for the 2025 year.

We pride ourselves in natural horsemanship methods and teachings.

Our need for hiring is due to rapid growth in our lesson program and we need help in the following areas:
-Western riding of horses 1-2x a week on horses that need training
-Instruction for beginner riding lesson groups 2-3x a week for basics such as grooming, saddling, and coaching in western riding basics

As much as we would like to support a teen, at this time we need a reliable adult with at least 10 years of experience in these areas.

Starting pay at $20/ hour.

Interviews start November 4th.
