Thank you to our friends at Gateway Veterinary Surgery for the thoughtful flowers on our first day back since the water main break! We particularly enjoy the dog-duckies. 🤣
When it comes to orthopedic surgeries, we feel it is so important to seek out a board certified orthopedic surgeon. We are so happy to work with GVS to provide access to such a skilled surgeon and professional team for our patients.

Update: The office will remain closed through Tuesday, but we hope to reopen for appointments on Wednesday, 7/24. Unfortunately, the insulation is taking longer to dry than anticipated, pushing back our ability to work in the office due to the loud fans and inability to move things back into place.
In the meantime, please enjoy the sweet face of one of our technician’s dogs relaxing during an acupuncture treatment. We can’t wait to get back to doing what we love and we thank all of you for your continued patience.

The office will be closed to appointments on Monday, 7/22, as we continue to put the office together after the water main break. We are hoping to have staff in the building for part of the day to facilitate filling prescription requests or answering phones. We will update with times as soon as we know for sure. Thank you so much for your continued patience and all of the kind words as we work to clean up and get back to helping our patients feel their very best!

Update: Due to a water main break and flooding in our building, we will have to remain Closed until Monday, 7/22, at the earliest. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to get the office back together again. All appointments through to Monday have been canceled. How do your pets handle fireworks? 🎆
Don't forget to get your refills of anti-anxiety medications for them if needed.
Keep your pet indoors during the popular times for firework displays if possible, especially if the noise makes them nervous.
If safe to do so, keep a collar and tag on your pet and make sure their microchip information is updated.
You can use music, television, or even a noisy fan to help drown out some of the noises.

Another recent graduate! Graduating from a rehab program typically means that the patient has regained symmetry in their muscle mass and has gotten back to full range of motion, but there can be many goals for getting your pet in to see one of our certified rehabilitation veterinarians! Maybe they need to recover from orthopedic surgery, have arthritis or an injury, need a weight loss program, or just need to get in tip top shape for agility. Whatever the reason for rehabilitation, we love helping owners and their pets get back to doing what they love.

When you bring your pets in for a rehabilitation evaluation or because they are dealing with chronic pain, the doctor may recommend joint injections to help them. This involves sedating the patient and injecting a steroid solution directly into the affected joint, just like humans might experience for some conditions! ❤️‍🩹
