Holt County Animal Shelter We're a small dog shelter in North Central Nebraska. The Holt County Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization. We serve Holt County Nebraska.

If you are missing your dog, contact the O'Neill Police Dept. We do house the dogs they impound. Through the generosity of our community, we have a well outfitted building. We strive to provide the best care for the dogs who end up in our facility. Our Current Board Members and Staff

The O’Neill Police Department would like to remind the public to ensure they are caring for their outdoor pets properly with the hot weather we are going to be experiencing. Checking on your outdoor pets, and providing them with appropriate food, shelter, and water. With the hot temperatures your pets will require adequate shade and a constant supply of water.

If you have pets, please do not leave them in the car, or outside without shade and water.

❗️If you do discover a dog in dangerous situation please call OPD. Per city ordinance dogs must have shelter and access to water. A dog house is not adequate shelter from the heat. ❗️

Summerfest is quickly approaching. Visit our booth to explore our diverse range of products, including wax melts, candles, goat milk soap, dog clothing, leashes, collars, and dog treats. We are also offering a dog-themed family game night package as a raffle prize, with tickets available for $5. Additionally, a golden gnome on a golden shamrock will be hidden, and the individual who finds it and brings it to our booth will receive an impressive prize.

I dont know the details yet, but he has been found and is on the way to the veterarian.
Our friend Gus has been missing from Page, Ne. for 3 days now.
Based on tracking evidence we believe he has been picked up.
He has medical issues that will start acting up without his medications.

We would like to help his family get him home. Please share with everyone you know.
