This is why your support is so important to the dogs of HCAS.
Sweet and Gentle Mia
Mia is about 4 1/2 years old. She's a Heeler mix and just has the most loving and chill personality. She's not great with cats. She will show her teeth and growl at them. Mia is dog selective but has been introduced to a few of our other dogs and she did very well. Mia has a history of trying to herd fast moving children but we have not seen any sign of her herding instinct since she's been with us. Call or message the shelter if you would like to meet Miss Mia or stop on down Saturday from 11-4 during our adoption event.
Emmett
Emmett is a full German Shepherd and is approximately 2 years old. Emmett will have to go to a home with no cats. He's not fond of them. Emmett likes to be out in the yard and watch for birds, squirrels, cats and any other critter that may go by. He's good on a leash, he's dog selective and he's loving and protective. If you'd like to meet Emmett call or message the animal shelter or stop on down Saturday during our adoption event.
Best Friends
Kylo and Kanji have become best friends since being at the shelter. They get along very well together. For a short time they shared a kennel. There were never any signs of food, treat or toy aggression at all. The ideal situation would be if they were adopted together. We know the chances of that are slim, but we wanted to show them together.
