Thank you for being a valued patron of the NAS Whidbey Island VTF. We continue to remain closed to the public, but in an effort to provide for the medical needs of our patients, as well as keep our clients and staff as safe as possible, we will be offering a limited number of curbside appointments with the following restrictions:
- Our priority for care continues to be our Military Working Dog population and our other government-owned animals.
- Our next priority for care will be those pets requiring health certificates for international travel, including the lab work necessary for those health certificates.
- We will also see those juvenile patients that are receiving their initial series of immunizations. To delay those immunizations jeopardizes their safety.
- As a public health measure we will also see those patients requiring updated rabies immunizations.
To keep our clients and staff as safe as possible we request that you remain in your car for these appointments. One of our staff will come out to your car, collect the history and reason for your visit, and bring your pet into the clinic. The doctor will complete their consult over the phone, discussing any procedures that were performed and answering any additional questions. Payment will be made via credit card over the phone with our receptionist.
We understand that this is not ideal, and when our public health authorities have deemed it safe to do so, we will gradually expand our services with the intent of returning to business as usual as soon as possible. In the meantime, we will do our best to support the needs of you and your pets.
We will not be offering any walk-in services, including retail purchases. If you need to pick up patient medications please call the clinic to place your order, before driving to the clinic, as we will only be available Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will then call you to notify you when it is ready for pick up at the clinic. We ask that you stay in your vehicles when picking up your medications. Once you have arrived give us a call at 360-257-2001 to let us know you are waiting. We will take payment over the phone and coordinate transfer of the medication.
We ask that you please stay home if you or anyone in your family is feeling ill or been exposed to COVID 19.
We thank you for your understanding and felixibility during this time! Once we have any new information we will ensure to post it here on our page.
