Holidays are rapidly approaching and our office hours will be adjusted as follows:

Thanksgiving - We will be closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th. We will reopen on Monday, December 2nd with office hours from 9-11am and from 3-6pm.

Christmas - We will be closed Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26th with office hours from 9-11am and from 3-6pm.

New Years - We will be open New Years Eve, December 31st from
9-11am and 3-5pm. We will be closed New Years Day, January 1st. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd with office hours from
9-11am and 3-6pm.

In the event of an emergency, please call 304-465-8267 for the phone number of the doctor on call.

We will be closed Thursday, July 4th. We will reopen on Friday, July 5th with normal office hours from 9-11am and 3-6pm.

Please be aware that many of our furbabies are afraid of fireworks, so please keep them in on the 4th.

Also, we are having a very hot Summer. Be sure that all your pets have plenty of shade to keep them out of the sun and plenty of fresh water to drink. If possible, keep them inside with air conditioning. Let's protect our furry friends and make sure they don't get overheated.

We will be closing early on Friday, May 17th so that Dr. Osborne may attend her daughter's high school graduation. Office hours for this date will be from 9:00am until Noon; we will be closing at noon and there will be no evening hours on this date.

If your pet needs to be seen on this date, please be sure to bring them before noon and to pick up any refills you may need before noon. We apologize for any inconvenience.

With a heavy heart we are sad to announce the passing of one of our long time family members - Carrie Carr passed away on February 24th. Carrie was employed at Oak Hill Animal Hospital for almost thirty years.

Much like her brother, David, another OHAH family member who preceded her in death just two years ago, Carrie was very quick-witted. Her sense of humor made her a joy to work with and her personality put all around her at ease. Always the consummate jokester, Carrie had the ability to brighten your day and bring a smile to your face.

A lifelong lover of animals, she often reminisced of how she knew she wanted to work at the animal hospital from the time she was in high school.

Carrie will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

This beautiful Springer Spaniel puppy is Tipper, the newest addition to the Blankenship Family. Tipper is 6 months old and has the sweetest personality. We look forward to watching him grow up!
