BENEFITS OF DAY CAMP It’s no mystery that dogs love Day Camp at Camp Bow Wow – you can tell by the way they whine and bark with excitement at the mention of C-A-M-P and the way they pull their parents from the parking lot through the front door because they can’t wait to romp and play with their fur-iends. Parents love Camp Bow Wow too; they know while they are busy at work or away for the day, their furry kid is happier and healthier because of the many benefits of Camp: • Provides regular exercise to maintain a healthy weight • Relieves boredom, separation anxiety, and destructive behavior at home • Improves socialization with dogs and people • Enhances quality of life At Camp Bow Wow® Near The Woodlands Area's Overnight Camp, is a premier dog boarding service, Overnight Campers enjoy all-day play and are tucked away each night in their individual cozy cabins where they sleep on cots with fleece padding. As the sun sets, each Camper unwinds by enjoying a delicious Campfire Treat®. OVERNIGHT BOARDING We’ll do everything we can to ensure your dog is happy and healthy during Overnight Camp and you can feel confident knowing your dog will be well-cared for during their stay in our safe and secure environment: • All Camp Counselors are extensively trained in dog behavior, pet first aid and CPR • Each Camper is required to pass a socialization interview, be spayed or neutered, and be current on vaccinations • Facilities are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week • Live webcams to check in on your dog from anywhere using a computer or mobile device. IN-HOME PET Our Certified Caregivers come to your home to give your pets the best care when you're not there! Do you have puppies or an older dog? Perhaps your dog has siblings of another species like a cat, bird, fish or iguana? When you go to work for long hours or travel for vacation, who do you trust to care for these important members of your family? Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow® offers pet sitting and is the most comprehensive and individualized in-home pet care available. OUR PREMIER SERVICES Our Certified Caregivers are passionate about providing love and attention to the pets in their care, not just a quick drop-in for a “nature” break. If your pet requires a little extra TLC, medication, or has other special needs, Home Buddies is the service for you. Our Caregivers are experienced in administering medication, caring for pets recovering from surgery and providing exceptional care for puppies and senior dogs. As the premier provider of in-home pet care, we offer all the services you need: Pet Sitting When you can’t be home for your pets, Home Buddies has you covered. We design each visit to accommodate your specific pet care needs. Vacation Visits While you’re away, we visit your pets daily to take care of all of their needs and, of course, give them lots of love and attention. Overnight Stays Let us stay overnight with your pets to provide them the ultimate pet care experience. You get all the benefits of vacation visits, plus a Caregiver to stay with your pets overnight. Do you just want to do something fun with your dog like teaching them to shake, bow or crawl? Our Behavior Buddies® Near The Woodlands Area dog training program can help get your pup off your “naughty-dog” list or just help you have more fun with your dog using reward-based methods. Our Certified Behavior Buddies Trainers complete an extensive training program with top dog behavior experts and can help you with anything from basic obedience and tricks, all the way up to the tougher issues like leash reactivity. Whether you want to participate in a group setting, take private lessons, or have us train your dog while you’re away, our trainers are ready to work with you and your pup. GROUP CLASSES Our dog training obedience classes are split into levels to help you and your dog learn at a progressive pace. Our classes will help you create the well-behaved dog you have always dreamed about using only reward-based training methods. Level I – Basic Puppy or Basic Adult Builds the foundation of reliable obedience commands like sit, leave it, coming when called and walking nicely on a leash. Your trainer will also address behavior issues that you have, whether it’s potty training or chewing, digging or barking, they can help you with any problems you are having. Level II – Advanced Teach your dog to heel by your side, go to their mat, come when called, and add distance and distractions to all of their behaviors so your dog listens to you wherever you are. The prerequisite for this class is a Level I – Basic Puppy or Adult, or trainer approval. Level III – Public Polishing CGC Learn how to get your dog to sit politely when they are greeting a stranger heel through a crowd, and much more! If your dog progresses through all three levels of our training, they will be prepared to take the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam. The prerequisite for this class is a Level II – Advanced or trainer approval. Training at Camp Let our Certified Behavior Buddies Trainers work with your dog while they are at Camp. With our Play & Train and Board & Train options, our Certified dog trainers will spend 30-minutes of one-on-one time with your dog during the day. Your trainer will recommend how many sessions your dog will need to learn the desired behavior, and you can pick up a well-mannered dog! Private Training Our Certified Dog Trainers will work one-on-one with you and your dog in a private setting that is most comfortable for you and your family. Private training can help you with addressing basic behavior issues, obedience or more serious issues. DOG GROOMING Bathing your dog is a hassle, so let us do the dirty work and you can pick up a clean dog after their stay at Camp! Is Scruffy looking a little more scruffy than usual? Camp Bow Wow® offers dog grooming in addition to our day care and boarding services so you can relax knowing your pup can be bathed and groomed in an environment they already feel safe and comfortable. Our best-in-show grooming will leave your dog looking and smelling great, so schedule a grooming service after your pup’s next day of day care or boarding stay and pick up a clean and fresh-smelling pooch!
