Helping Paws Animal Network

Helping Paws Animal Network Helping hungry, hurting and homeless animals. See our website at www.helpingpawsanimalnetwork.org. All of us are volunteers who share a love for animals.

See our success stories at http://helpingpaws37830.wordpress.com. Helping Paws Animal Network is a non-profit organization under IRS Section 501(c)(3). We strive to assist local animals (in Anderson and surrounding counties in TN) in dire situations who are hungry, hurting or homeless. We raise funds to assist state-registered nonprofit rescue groups when funding is needed for food, shelter, vet s

ervices, boarding, etc. We prioritize verified cases based on available funds at the time of the request. We pay the veterinarian, the kennel or appropriate vendor, and/or purchase the required needs, such as food, supplies, or medicine. We also serve as a network for posting homeless animals and assist with spay/neuter costs prior to homing when needed and feasible. Our network is made up of anyone in the general public who loves animals as much as we do; we have seven members on our Board. Anyone, whether you know us or not, who would like to contact a team member with a comment or question may send a personal message via Facebook, or send separate mail to [email protected]. We are so grateful for all our friends and supporters; you assist us in helping those that cannot help themselves. Note: Any views expressed by individual board members or supporters on this or any other social media site do not reflect the viewpoint of HPAN. Thank you,
HPAN Board of Directors

This little girl with the big eyes is Garnet. She came from a similar situation as a lot of our dogs, found in an abandoned home with a large amount of other dogs. We don't know how long they were and if they ever really knew humans. Garnet has been in foster for about two weeks and is already making great strides to trusting people. She is very sweet and desperately wants human affection but needs someone who will give it to her on her terms while she learns to trust. She willingly comes for treats. She does get along great with other dogs and a house with another dog could help her confidence. So far, Garnet is not house trained but does try to go on the potty pads. She will go outside when the other foster dogs do but is too timid to be leashed and walked so a fenced yard is a must. Garnet is around 2 years old and weighs 9 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines. She is a quiet girl. Garnet was groomed today and did great with the staff and accepted many hugs and kisses. To apply for this sweet girl, fill out the adoption application in the pinned post.

Merry Christmas from our shelter dogs❤️ Although they won’t be in a home for Christmas, you can still help them feel the Christmas spirit!

•Volunteering!
Our animals loved to be walked, sat with, played with, and loved on. Even if it’s 30 minutes to make sure they get some extra love we all greatly appreciate it🐾

•Donating!
We appreciate any toys, treats, blankets, towels, collars, harnesses, leashes, etc. These things help our animals on a daily basis🐕🐈

•Sharing!
We try to post our dogs as soon as they’re available. Sometimes the shelters needs take away from social media, but the biggest help is sharing our “Available For Adoption” posts! We’ve had people come from out of County and State because y’all share the post and they see them❤️

We thank our community, our volunteers, our amazing rescues, other surrounding shelters, everyone who does what they can to help and support our animals🐕🐾🐈 We appreciate you!
