Hi there! I’m Crista, founder and head trainer at K9 Loyalty Training. Since 2016, I’ve been sharing my journey with many of you and I’m excited to welcome those who are new to our page.

What began with a dog walking and pet sitting business has grown into a passion for dog training.

At K9LT, our mission is to help dog owners build a healthy and solid foundation with their dogs. Through our board and train services, we uncover your dog’s true potential. As your trainer, I’m dedicated to teaching real-life skills that empower you to work with your dog both on and off leash. Together, we can achieve incredible results!

K9 Tucker practicing his basics as we continue to build up the distractions and add real life accidents during our Day Training Program. Just because I spilt his dog food all over the floor doesn’t mean he is allowed to help himself. What if one day it is something harmful? We must teach our dogs to leave it alone unless we release them to it.

About Us

Welcome!

As the owner of K9 Loyalty Training L.L.C. my goal is to educate owners and their dogs with the proper training to enrich their relationship and everyday life. Over the years, I've devoted a majority of my time volunteering at local shelters, fostering and rescuing animals in need. It has inspired me to help others have a better understanding of what their pets need.

During my husbands enlistment in the Military, our family moved to California in 2013. I began caring for pets of out-of-town military families and was thrilled to be able to provide them with reassurance that their animals were safe and comfortable during their absence.

In 2014 I pursued my passion and graduated from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer. I understand that each dog is different and that is why I decided to start my own business and customize our training programs to fit each individual dog and lifestyle.
