PLEASE get your dogs/cats microchipped BEFORE the 4th of July ( several microchip clinics going on, contact your local shelters for the schedule). It can save your animals and reunification is 90% faster.

Less dogs coming into the shelters the better so if you can foster a found dog until reunited PLEASE DO ( when 1 dog enters the shelter another may lose its life to make room for that 1 dog. Now multiply that by 10-20).

Contact your vets and make appointments in time ( most vets are scheduling AT LEAST 2 WEEKS out if not more) for calming medications if needed.

If you have livestock CHECK YOUR FENCES and keep an eye on them.

Penny got adopted! Her new mom loves her already so much. It was a fantastic meet & greet, Penny was not afraid of her wheelchair and made herself at home on her new moms Lap. Best of luck Penny, you deserve it!

Penny needs to find placement in the next 2 weeks. My grandmother will be moving in with her dog and they do not get along. Penny LOVES her people but does not get along with other female dogs. Not aggressive when in public but won't share her home with one. She came in as a stray last year and desperately needs her own person!

We have asked for financial help in every way possible, and those who want to help, have stepped up to help. We love you all for that. But, we’ve been trying to raise money for the $3800 hay delivered in December, and now, we have a second hay invoice, with no ability to even pay off the last one. With the unexpected, rapid decline of Erick’s mom’s health, her death in December, and the subsequent loss of her retirement income, our financial obligations for our home and family have tripled. We have contributed an enormous percentage of our personal income to the nonprofit, particularly since inflation began soaring in 2020. We can’t do it any longer. We must put our home and family expenses first.

This is an incredibly difficult thing to say, and do, but we MUST reduce our sanctuary expenses. We have enough hay (albeit unpaid for) for everyone for ~50 days. We have a pig food delivery scheduled (which is automatically deducted from our account), and that will last ~28 days. 🚨 We MUST have new homes found for dozens of residents by the END OF MARCH. 🚨

Cows, equines, farm pigs, roosters, senior animals, and special needs animals will NOT need to be rehomed. All others are available for adoption, or transfer to another sanctuary.

Please be kind. We don’t need to hear “you should have”, “you shouldn’t have”, or “I knew it.” This is hard enough without criticism. We just need help. Please, help us find new homes for our beloved farmily.

URGENT!!

Can anyone open their home to a senior lab? Foster needed ASAP until we can get something long term figured out. Several rescues currently trying to find a foster or adopter, even short term? He was dumped and needs a warm bed.
***He has a growth on his behind but after a vet visit today was told it's not painful but will need to be removed ( rescue/fundraiser assistance)

Fellow rescuer could use a little help, they saved a whole family for a horrific fate! I know she is a legitimate rescue and takes on some hard cases but lead with their heart.

Winter is on its way. Due to rescuing 5 minis from a kill pen this weekend we are in need of a larger shelter. We are trying to raise funds quickly before the cold rain starts here in south Arkansas. FERAL mother gave birth to 3 pups, 2 males and 1 female. Covered in fleas and malnourished ( finder cannot afford dog food- we have offered to provide help with dog food). Approx 12-15 weeks old.
