Brewer is back for the final week of Dunkin’s board and train, where we’re focusing on working both dogs together. At home, they’ve had scuffles over resources and when play has gotten too rough, but we’re setting them up for success! When they return home, their owners will have the right tools to improve their relationship:
1. Structure, structure, structure!
2. Limiting access to resources
3. Utilizing the ‘out’ command
4. Advocating for both dogs during playtime

A muzzled dog is not a ‘bad’ dog! Dogs wear muzzles for many reasons—whether it’s to prevent stress in new situations, manage reactivity, or ensure everyone’s safety. Muzzles are a responsible choice that helps keep both dogs and humans safe. Let’s break the stigma and recognize that using a muzzle is just another way to care for our dogs ♥️

⭐️ AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!! ⭐️

Meet Tito, our new foster dog! Tito is a 2-year-old Exotic Bully who was surrendered through no fault of his own. While he’s here we’ll be working on a nice loose leash walk, basic obedience, and teaching him how to slow down both mentally and physically. He’s crate trained and has lived with other dogs in the past. Stay tuned as we get to know Tito better and help him become the best version of himself!

This handsome pup is ready to kick off his training journey with us. His amazing parents want to make sure he gets off to the best start possible. Over the next three weeks, we’ll be working on a nice loose leash walk, perfecting polite manners, and turning him into an Everywhere Dog! Welcome, Gus!

Gus is here to work on his separation anxiety in the crate, anxiety, a loose leash walk and to solidify his obedience.

He lives two hours away and arrived with his own prong collar, E-Collar and leash. His mom has already done some work with him using ’s E-Collar guide. Can you say dream client?!

Gus is already making amazing progress and I’m SO excited to see what we can accomplish over the next three weeks! ♥️

Welcome, Thor!!

Thor’s sister, Sasha, finished her training program last month and now it’s his turn. We’re working on E-Collar conditioning, a loose leash walk, off-leash reliability and stopping bad behaviors (this dude loooves to counter surf).

Sasha will be back for boarding for the final week of Thor’s board and train and I’m looking forward to working them together.

Goldie graduated from my puppy program last year and now she’s back for E-Collar training! We’ll be layering the collar over her commands, cleaning up the heel position, solidifying place, and working on off-leash recall.

Want to ensure your pup stays in the heel position consistently?

Here are some tips (REMEMBER, your dog should already understand the "Heel" command and have an understanding of pressure and release and/or be conditioned to the E-Collar):

← Pulling Ahead? Apply leash pressure and/or use E-Collar stim until they return to your side. Reward your dog once they're back in position!

→ Falling Behind? Tap, tap, tap on the tone button and/or your leg while with encouraging body language to guide them back to your side.

↓ Veering Off? Hold the stim button and/or apply leash pressure, adjust your pace/direction, and guide them back with the leash to get them back in tune with you. Once your pup is back in position give verbal praise.

Remember: Consistency and patience are key! ✨ Start short and gradually increase duration and distractions as your dog progresses.

Hi! I’m Jess, the passionate dog trainer and owner of Everywhere Dog Training (since 2021!). I left the corporate world behind last year to pursue my passion for helping dogs and humans connect through relationship based training as my full-time gig. I offer board and train programs and structured boarding. My favorite part of this job is empowering pups and their people so they can live their best lives together ♥️

I’d also like to take a few moments to introduce the rest of my pack.

First up is my husband, Oliver, the official "Scritch Master" and biggest supporter of Everywhere Dog Training! Every pup who walks through our doors instantly falls in love with his gentle demeanor and, of course, his legendary belly rubs. He may not be an official trainer, but Oliver is always willing to help proof commands, walk dogs and assist with potty breaks.

And then there’s Bowie and Henry. Bowie has been by my side for 6 years now, and his favorite things include getting cozy under a blanket, the zoomies, and an occasional scavenger hunt for stray kibble in the kennel room.

Henry is my 3-year-old adventure buddy! He's always up for a hike, a trip to a brewery, or just hanging out by my side. No matter what we're doing, he's happy as long as we're together.

This 12 week old real life stuffed animal will be with us for the next four weeks to learn all the stuff that will set him up for a lifetime of success!

Hi! My name is Jess and I’m new here. Well not technically… I’ve been doing dog things for years, but this is my new business page, and I’m SO grateful to be part of this balanced dog community ❣️ I offer personalized private lessons and board and train programs, where your dog becomes part of my family and pack!

Pittsburgh, PA is where I was born and raised and still call home. When I'm not training dogs you can usually find me cuddled up with a good book and a glass of wine, hiking with my personal pups, or shopping at Trader Joe's.
