Our free-flow exercisers, also known as Eurocisers, are essential to our rehabilitation and conditioning programs.

Unlike traditional hot walkers, Eurocisers allow horses to move naturally while receiving controlled exercise routines, making them a safer, more advanced option. Ideal for rehabilitating horses recovering from injuries, the Eurociser can walk or trot horses for a set time with built-in safety measures.

At Premier Equine Center, we use four covered Eurocisers year-round, with specialized footing that offers cushion and support without being too deep or heavy.

Pat and Amie opened Premier Equine Center in 2008 with a goal to provide premier care and services to the equine industry.

At the young ages of only 25 and 21, they set out to change the equine rehabilitation industry on the West Coast by providing the best facility, equipment and care possible for their client horses.

While building this business, they have formed working relationships with some of the top equine veterinarians and trainers in the country.

Through their hands-on approach of being at the barn every day alongside their skilled staff, they have been able to grow Premier Equine Center into what it is today… the most trusted place on the West Coast to care for your horse.

This might just look like a run down horse barn, but it is so much more to so many. Today I hauled horses out of Golden Gate Fields for my final time. Horses that are going to get time off, rest, swim and run again. We plan on being in attendance Sunday when they run their final races at the historic track. Golden Gate Fields helped make Premier Equine Center into what it is today. It was home to so many good horses, trainers, grooms and owners. It has sent us multiple Triple Crown competitors, Breeders Cup horses, stakes winners and miracle horses. Horses that have made a difference in our lives. We have established life long relationships, clients and friends. We have amazing employees at our facility that have spent time grooming the West Coast’s top horses. This track has been unbelievably good to Amie and I. Thank you to all of the horses, horsemen, owners and grooms that have changed our life and facility over the last 15 years. Best wishes to all of you and to Northern California Horse Racing. We will be there to support you, just like you supported us.

Meet our managers: Toni Borba & Kendall Long

Toni grew up in Oakdale in a ranching family and has been around horses her entire life. Her favorite part about working at Premier Equine Center is getting to work with so many high caliber horses from a wide range of disciplines. Toni helps oversee all aspects of the rehabilitation operation in addition to helping Kendall with our lay-up and retirement horses.

Kendall is originally from Sacramento, Ca. She grew up around horses and knew at a young age that she wanted a career working with them. Her favorite part of working at Premier Equine Center is caring for the horses in our retirement program and knowing that they get to live out the rest of their lives while receiving the best of care. Kendall helps oversee the retirement program and lay up horses in addition to helping Toni with our rehabilitation horses.
