Last night my last Two puppies went home to their new families. The love seemed obvious as they followed these pups around the park. I couldn’t be sad as I saw how happy the guys were and a wife!

4 very happy puppies that enjoyed the ride home after searching and finding them in a cornfield! The fifth one followed the retriever home and was so happy to see all of us drive up! Little buggars need homes! I see a puppy discount coming!

Golden doodle Puppies looking for their humans to love! 6 black some with white on their chests and goatees. 3 females and 3 males. Smart gentle and playful! 1 Merle male. 11 weeks old tomorrow. Dew claws removed and have 2nd shots. All eating puppy kibble and love the water!

It has been an extremely busy summer at Wiggle Your Butt Resort. 5 months of visiting dogs and then throw in 13 puppies! Almost too busy to post a lot of pictures. The heat and humidity this summer, starting in early June kept all the dogs looking for shelter in the air conditioned dog houses. Early mornings and late evenings were mainly their play times. It was even too hot to let them run to the river most of the summer. Have been very busy the last 4 weeks while families have entrusted their fur babies to me while in long vacations. I have clipped several dogs and worked on toenails. I only do my boarders, sorry. Puppies will be 10 weeks old tomorrow and are ready for new homes. Using doggie doors to potty outside and are the picture of health!

I am having a very tough summer here at Wiggle Your Butt Resort. I feel deflated, defeated and heartbroken. My once beautiful kennel has all but been destroyed. At this point the fence and gates will no longer hold dogs because of large holes in the wire. Two weeks ago I said I would no longer take labs or lab crosses. I felt I was badly deceived when a gal told me she had to terrier crosses. I was expecting small dogs. Instead 2 pit bull terrier lab crosses showed up. The wiggle butt house bed has been destroyed. I was bitten by a small house dog several times before it finally drew blood. I still can’t catch it. I was told I may have to be firm with it. I would never put this on my page, but I’m at a bad low. I am not your typical boarding kennel. I have had wonderful behaved dogs that get to run free under my supervision. Until things are mended here at my kennel. I am closing my doors starting the 12th. I have a few bookings yet for the summer. Please call me.

Four acres of yard to play in and they’re all with in 10 feet of me! A few more yet to come for the weekend and two bull dogs in the kennel. I’m full at 15 dogs and 13 puppies!

The puppies are growing and eating a lot! The mom and nanny are still nursing them. They all have teeth now and I’m sure the nursing days are limited. Their hair is so shiny and soft. The black ones just glisten! I have been feeding yogurt, egg yolk and goats milk and have never seen such shining fur. When they look me in the face my heart turns to a puddle. I am enjoying every step of raising this litter because it will be my last.

Due to the extensive damage and irreparable gates that labs and lab crosses have done to my kennels at Wiggle Your Butt Resort, I can not afford to board them anymore. It’s amazing how much strength and power they have in their feet and toes. I love and enjoy dogs but don’t enjoy mending torn up chain link gates and fence. Didn’t think I would ever have to post this. Sorry.

13 puppies from bottle feeding to drinking from a dish. Momma is keeping up with her milk, but can tell she’s relying on dish feeding more and more. They’re all thriving.

Puppies are two 1/2 weeks old and most are using the puppy pads. Some walk over to it and think they are on it when they potty. Bottles aren’t needed any more but I make sure the little one gets the dining table to herself! Amazes me how fast they learn!

I talked with my vet today, and told him Bree has taken over Willow’s pups. I make her behave so Willow can still nurse them while I bottle feed. Bree doesn’t allow any dogs near the pups. I asked the vet if Bree would ever get milk. He said as long as both dogs cycled at the same time and it’s under 70 days it’s a possibility. I checked her today and sure enough! She has milk!

They found a deer to chase and four of them chased for 1/2 a mile. 1 of them came across a skunk and now leaves a smelly trail of her own. I think she did this before when she was here! Momma Willow even came with tonight. She loved her first night out alone! One of the big guys needed a lift and I made Willow ride part of the way home. You cool off a lab by dipping them in the water trough!

So Bree has moved into the puppy bed and is now cleaning them and loving on them. Willow came in and Bree actually growled at her!!!😳

Busy and great day at wiggle your butt resort today! Finally a day that dogs can be outside with perfect temperatures!

Willow and I (helping with feedings 5 times a day) have doubled the puppies weight in 6 days! They know my smell and when I get into their pool bed, they know the milk truck has arrived! Willow takes this opportunity to step out and take a break. The tiny one is just a little bigger then all at birth. They are thriving on my mixture of goats milk yogurt and egg yolk. Willow is the best mom!

Willow and her pups are doing great! I’m helping her with the overload by supplementing with bottles. Everyone takes the bottle very well and Willow seems relieved when I show up with one. 4 Merles have been spoken for and a female and male Merle is left. Many of the black ones have some white markings.

Willow produced her last litter of puppies last night. She went out as a heroine producing 6 Merles! 3 females and 3 males. She had four black ones and 3 with some little white markings. 13 total. All healthy and doing great. Mom is tired but as always the best mom!

I haven’t always had my phone on me when I’m with all the dogs that have come to stay already this spring. I know how all the moms and dads look forward to seeing what the pups are up to. Willow hasn’t had her ultrasound yet, but I have a hunch there are pups coming around June 1st.! The way she is filling out I doubt this is a fake one like last fall.

Wiggle your Butt Resort is slowly but surely getting back into the running free dog days again! They run all day and drop like flies at night. Call if you need a dog sitter!

Please keep your dogs nail as short as you can. I have witnessed dogs walking on nails that curved under and into their paws.
