I am proud and blessed to work where I do and be able to order a custom goatie approved trailer. Sold or leased all the horses out, so my big GN was not getting used. (Except Nickabob) With some wheeling and dealing, we got the GN sold, and the new trailer ordered. I am so very excited to own a beautiful new Thuro-bilt trailer manufactured right here in Roseburg. ❤️🐐🇺🇲👌👏

We lost our sweet antique barn kitty early halloween morning. She ate dinner late wednesday night, and was still curled up in her bed when I found her early thursday, passed away. Smokey was an outdoor only barn kitty and was atleast 20 (honestly probably closer to 25 ) years old, her last few years were in my milk room, only going ourside when weather was warm so she could bask in the Sunshine. We frequently gave her ice packs on hot summer days and she had a heated bed for winter. Her warming bed is now empty and the farm just isnt the same. The best stray that ever wandered in and never left. Rest in peace sweet girl.

We also started taking advantage of the DNA portion of the ADGA PERFORMANCE PLUS program and submitted several DNA samples earlier this year. Most have come back now, still waiting on a few more. Just one more building block slowly being placed for our herd to ensure building confidence with our customer base and breeding program...

Our linear appraisal sesson went very well. All things considered, we are happy with our scores!

High score was 6 yr old Violet, closely followed by 2 yr old, second freshener, India, and then 2 yr old first freshener Koko!

As an AMERICAN DAIRY GOAT ASSOCIATION PERFORMANCE PLUS MEMBER we participate in this program for educational purposes, creating goal oriented breeding decisions, and development and improvement of a physical record for our registered dairy goats for both their predesessors, and their future offspring.

Boss guard llama in charge says that there is a strange cow with spots in with the black angus herd 10 acres away that he doesn't recognize. He is alerting the goats that this "spotted cow" is very suspicious.

All the February, March, and April doe kids have joined the herd dynamic to make up a "mini herd" within the main herd. 6 of these are still available for new farms, homesteads, or as production does! We have been blessed with far more healthy doe kids this year than normal with only 1/3 of our crop being boys. These doe kids are social, active, and playful!
