A winter storm watch has been issued for Garrett County from late Thursday evening through Saturday morning. Snow in excess of 6 inches with 40 mph winds is expected.

UPDATE 1:39 P.M. I just got a phone call.... They will be sending my order late TOMORROW. We will have a variety of fish coming. There should be a very nice selection of Fancy Guppies and Endlers on this order.

I just found out that we will NOT be getting a fish delivery today. A few hours before my usual delivery, I received a message that they changed my delivery day and "THOUGHT" that someone reached out to tell me. They did not. I'm not very happy and have shared that with them. I will have a big fish order next week late Wednesday from a different company. I hope that this post will save some of you a trip in looking for the new fish arrivals. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience.

Due to pain issues today, I am not able to open. I'm sorry, that's all I can say. I promise that I am not posting this to get you sympathy. It's quite the opposite, I do not want to appear weak, or have people feel sorry for me, or admit defeat, EVER. It's quite embarrassing for me to admit that days like this happen.
This is why I have been closed on Tuesdays for the last several years, and why I close at 4PM on most days. Its literally all I can handle.. I NEED a day for myself that I can rest my body. For the last several years, one day has been enough. I promise, I dont mean to inconvenience my customers and their pets, but some days my body will not work. It's that simple. There are days that I will have to close, and this is one of them.
Some weeks, I get so far behind. Then, when I have a good day, I want to get as much done as I can, and I often overdo it. With the nice weather yesterday, I wanted to get outside and garden and work with my animals, but I am paying for it today and so are my customers.
As my "people" know, I am pretty much a one person operation. Normally I can use my adhd to hyperfocus on my work and just work despite my pain issues. Some days, like today is just too overwhelming. I just want my customers to try and understand a bit of what daily life is like with chronic pain and adhd. I know Im not alone. At 52 years old, I am trying to not be ashamed and admit that I cant handle every single problem on every single day. There are so many people that come into the store that have similar issues. I realize that I am not alone in this. I have suffered with this mess for about 35 years. I'm trying to do the best I can.
