Good afternoon Lakeside friends,



We want to make all of our cat owners aware of the Maine State Rabies Vaccine Protocol, in light of the recent, multiple, positive wild life exposures around the state. ALL cats, INCLUDING indoor cats, must be up to date on their Rabies vaccine in order to come into the hospital for surgery and drop off appointments. Rabies is an annual vaccine for cats. Only cats with severe reactions will qualify for exemption, at the doctors discretion. This is to protect both staff and other patients in the hospital, as well as adhere to state guidelines. We will happily schedule an appointment for you to update your pets if they are overdue, so that we can serve you better, with future drop off appointments and procedures.

We've got news!!!

We are happy to announce that our lobby is now open!! You are welcome to come in to pick up your medications and check in for appointments, of course our pick up box and phone check in will still be available, however text check in will no longer be available.
To alleviate congestion in our small lobby, we do ask that you leave your pets in your vehicle and wait with them after you check in until you are called in for your appointment.
We look forward to seeing you all! 😊
