Oakland, Fayette County and surrounding areas…. I would like to say thank you for another successful year. As with any event, not everyone will have the same experience. Each year Fright Family Farm has gone out of it’s way to mitigate any and all risks. Unfortunately, there will be situations beyond their control. I specifically wanted to address those that did not have a favorable experience. I would like for you to reach out “privately” (or publicly). I request that no one deters someone else from expressing their feelings. Please, if you must reply publicly, please know all the facts before condemning any steps taken to ensure all patrons were safe.
We each have “lenses” that we view from our own personal life experiences and/or traumas. Each Facebook account will put their perspective of life, what’s funny, what they disagree with and even include their opinions. No one’s perspective is wrong. It’s just your personal feelings. We also know that some people don’t have a life and they live for drama using their fake accounts. Please be respectful.
Big Red’s Family Farm has a lot to offer Fayette County and I highly encourage each of you to be patient. We’ve never asked for donations. We ask for your participation. To put it in perspective, each year Fright Family Farm has given proceeds to keep the grass cut, feed the farm animals and even helped fund our future projects. One of our projects on the horizon for Spring 2025 includes a 300ft 4-wheeler drag racing track. It was brought to my attention from a group of young people that the nearest safe location was hours away in Mississippi. Hopefully we can fix that so here’s a quick sneak peek….
