- Invertebrates (yes, even tarantulas!)
- Cats (even though we specialize in exotic pets, we love to care for cats as well!)

I have extensive husbandry and veterinary training in exotic, zoo and wildlife medicine so that you can rest easy knowing that your feathered, scaly and furred friends are in good hands. I relish the challenge of working with exotic animals, and I include the Oakland Zoo and wildlife projects in Botswana and Malawi among my previous employers. I love to donate my time whenever possible, and I have spent a significant amount of time volunteering with wildlife rehabilitation organizations both locally and abroad. I regularly attend Continuing Education conferences and presentations in order to keep up-to-date on the latest standards of care in exotic medicine and husbandry. Oakland Street Bunz is a dedicated rabbit rescue providing loving care for bunnies who’ve been dumped on the streets of Oakland. These social creatures shouldn’t face a life of fear and danger. 🚨🦎 One of our rescue partners recently stepped in to help 19 geckos who were in an urgent situation and needed immediate rescue. These poor little ones were found dehydrated and emaciated, and they’ll need a lot of love and care to get back to health. ❤️‍🩹

They're dedicated to giving them all the support they need before they’re ready to find their forever homes. They would love any help or support as they work tirelessly to get them setup and healthy again!
