1. Introduce the carrier as a part of their everyday environment a couple of days before the appointment
2. Speak in a calm voice to keep your feline friend calm
3. Offer treats or verbal praise for good behavior
4. Ask your veterinarian if additional support or tips are needed!

Did you know, more pets go missing July 4th weekend than any other time of the year? Fireworks and loud noises can cause pets to run away. If your pet isn't microchipped, we strongly recommend booking your appointment, as it greatly increases the chances of reunification should your pet run away. We are so happy to announce that Main Street Animal Clinic will be open for business at our new location, 7980 Hwy 64 Oakland TN, on Tuesday July the 13th. In order to move, we will be closed for business on Monday July the 12th. Our sign is up so you will be able to clearly see our location from Hwy 64. We are the building right beside Ace Hardware on Hwy 64.
Our new clinic will offer you and your pet 6,800 square ft. of facility and there will be ample parking and a large waiting area which will allow you to come directly in to our clinic once arriving for your appointment. For our feline pet parents there will be a separate Cat Waiting Area and treatment room. Plus Four Exam rooms and one Consultation room. We will be offering grooming and boarding in the near future, stay tuned for another Facebook post for up to date details.
