Senior bunny needs loving home 💗

"Lil Bun" is the sweetest rabbit — his little bum leg doesn’t slow him down one bit! He loves gentle pets, often lowering his head for attention, and hops around confidently despite his limp.

I unfortunately have found myself unable to give him the attention he needs and want him to get the best care possible. This is a hard decision for me to make, soo I am looking for the RIGHT home. The right household must have rabbit experience, adults only, not a pet for a child.

He is about 6 years old.
He is neutered.
He is not 100% litter box trained, but I think he can be if someone has the time to train him!
His (RHDV) vaccine is current.

He’s a playful, sweet and gentle young male! He loves to be run and do zoomies through tunnels. He likes to play hide and seek behind his hay tower. He is energetic and will wear himself out if given the room to play.

🌹Meet Ximena! ⭐🎄 Oakland
This December Adopt a Senior Bunny! Ximena has no health issues. She is 9 years old and has lived at RabbitEARS for all of her life! Our wish is for her to find a loving home where she can be a bunny.
Or maybe a partner in another rabbit who needs a friend?

Ximena gets startled easily if she hears loud noises or if someone approaches her fast. She surprisingly does well with children that are gentle with her. She loves 😍 to be pet on the head but does not like to be picked up.

We love to find her tunneling under blankets in her exercise pen and playing with her toys. For a 9-year-old bunny she likes to run and binky (jump) when put in a run at the rescue! 🥰
