Though barely out of puppyhood, creamy chi-mix Garth has had a rough start to life and is looking for an angel adopter who will give him all the love and care he deserves. Brought in as a stray, he is overwhelmed by the shelter environment and shy with volunteers, likely due at least in part to issues with his back legs, which appears to be congenital. Garth is mobile and gets around in his own way, enjoys playing with stuffed toys and the company of other gentle dogs, and is starting to learn the value of tasty treats. Garth would do best in a quiet home without stairs, preferably with a confident yet gentle pup who can show him how to dog. Meet Frodo! 🐾 This 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix is 70 lbs of pure love, ready to find his family. With his long legs and even longer snout, he’s sure to steal your heart with every wag and cuddle. 💕
Frodo is a house-trained, non-destructive, and treat-loving boy who’s great on a leash and enjoys a brisk walk to stretch those legs. He’s gentle around people, non-reactive to other dogs, cars, and bikes, and is always happy to greet you with his sweet eyes and soft nudges.
He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he’s not left alone for long. Frodo can get a bit anxious when on his own, but his loving nature makes him the perfect sidekick for a family who’s ready to give him all the love he deserves. 🥰
