Barbarella’s pics from Championships can’t fully capture her various successes: Materiale Grand Champion, Young Horse Futurity Champion, Show High Point… her accolades go on & on. We love riding this sweet mare every day & are so excited to keep developing her for the future! 🤩

Our horses worked very hard with coach Anne Gribbons earlier this week, so when we want to keep it fresh but still get some movement, we set up a Cavaletti playground! Here is Fendi, who recently made her Developing horse PSG debut playing over the sticks 🩷🥂

Fendi S, looking a lot like her auntie Emeres in the best possible way, did her first Developing Prix St Georges a couple of weeks ago in Colorado. We are so proud of her! She still gets worried so there were some mistakes but the pieces are all there. We are excited to get her stronger over the winter & ready to GO in the spring!

We love developing the young horses toward their potential- and of course Fendi was on maternity leave til she was 5, as mother to Barbarella. 🤩🫶🏽🥂

This mare: Emeres (UB40 x Idocus), my sweet miracle girl was such a star in regional Finals. Scoring 65+% in her PSG final & 66% in her Int 1 warm up, this girl gives her all every time. I love her so much. What we lack in extravagance, we make up for in heart.

Now on to preparing for the big ring. We keep going til she tells me otherwise. 🫶🏽🥂

Seasons change & so do things at Revel Ranch! We are very excited to announce a new assistant trainer, welcome Nathalie Finch! Nathalie comes to Revel from the epicenter of US dressage in Wellington, FL. Having competed thru Intermediate 1, Nathalie brings a strong background in both training & teaching to our team.

While we are sad to see our rider Kami leave, We continued to struggle with her visa, so she is moving on to new adventures & returning to the EU. Kami, it has been great watching your growth as a rider & professional & we wish you the best in your next steps!

Onward!

If you know this horse, you will understand what a *huge accomplishment this open throatlatch and honest reach through the back are!! Ditto for the quiet rideability you see in the tempi changes. He is all heart, this guy, never stops trying. 💖 His only flaw is that he tries too hard (and then gets completely out of sorts as he tries to charge about!)

Days 1 & 2 of the show, nerves got the best of him, but by day 3, we figured out our warmup & scored 69% in his Intermediate 1 test.

Looking forward to the future with sweet Dante. 💜🥂

We can’t overstate how proud we are of this mare: Emeres (UB40 x Idocus,) in her first PSG, scoring over 70% from 2 different judges in Colorado a couple of weeks ago.

Outside of some very nice scores, the comments from the judges ranged from “a pleasure to watch,” to “what an incredible mare: I love her kind & trusting expression,” which really sums up how we feel about her.

She’s still getting stronger in the work & we are already excited for next steps. See you guys out there next year. 🥂🦾🫶🏽 (not included, pictures of me crying while we exit the arena 💖)
