Seattle Parrot Expo was amazing! I am constantly in awe of how Debbie, the Flight Club Foundation, and so many volunteers can come together each year and make this magic happen!
Even got to see a familiar face from the Medical Center For Birds 🥰🥰🥰

Very excited for all the new connections we made this weekend. I’m off to work but I expect the macaw will sleep a few more hours and the ‘toos will be up very soon and ready for the next adventure! 🤣

The new building for the Medical Center for Birds is looking AMAZING!!!

With construction getting to the final stages, we are not taking birds for Boarding with Training, until the dust settles. Literally! 🤣

I received an anonymous memo today that there were some bare areas needing attention AKA please add toys! Said parrot who will remain nameless, (🦜Pearl🦜) was REALLY excited to show me his handiwork. Literally, he flew over and danced until I noticed 🤣 So…I’ll be attaching cardboard and shredder toys to the wall. How are you keeping up with your parrot’s entertainment needs? 🙃

Happy Monday, everyone! Pearl was having a hard time getting out of bed this morning, especially with this new hammock-type contraption he’s made with his boing, but a little dance party put the necessary pep in his step. We’re ready to take on the day! Let’s see some pictures of you and your birds tackling the day!

I feel so grateful to be able to work with such amazing people! I’ve been super sick this week and as a result lots of rescheduled appointments. Everyone has been so wonderful! I don’t want to get anyone sick and when we work together we can share our love of parrots, not cooties! THANK YOU!
