*Client update video* After one evaluation and one lesson, Cali’s confidence in her owner has skyrocketed! Just a few little tweaks to all the stuff he was working on, and Cali is now comfortable on her place board that she was terrified of, and jumping through the tire that she was once terrified of! Not to mention her “stay” and recall.. So proud of these two!! 🙌🏼

First official lesson with Cali today and huge strides were made!
After our evaluation, her owners continued working on some basics. This helped us get a head start today. We worked on focus drills, reactivity, and getting her on her place board (which she was terrified of!)
We worked her through it and by the end of her lesson she was happily jumping onto her place and was so proud of herself😂
Very excited to see how far she comes!

Will be posting some follow-up videos for Cooper.
Another case of anxiety on walks and reactivity to dogs and even people.
Cooper has come so far in 5 sessions (this includes our initial evaluation)
We worked on basic obedience/ guidance, and his reactivity. He made great progress. Similar to Taz, we took him to a new environment after he had his foundation work. He was uncomfortable and could not relax.
While here, we worked on confidence building drills and focus drills. He made a ton of progress within the hour. We took him to the same park a second time, and mom had it completely under control! She really didnt need my help at this point😂 But it was incredible to see how much confidence he had in her and how relaxed he was. So proud of this sweet boy! ❤️

I’m very upset that i did not record Taz’s transformation from start to finish.
We’ve worked together a total of 4 times.
When I first met Taz, he was nervous to go on walks. He would grip the ground, tail tucked, overly concerned about his surroundings. He could not relax.
Fast forward to now- he is loving his walks! Not tugging on the leash, not reacting at dogs.
Once we accomplished this, we took Taz to a park to work in a new environment. He was a mess.. he was reacting and lunging and could not relax.
We took a step back to an environment where he was comfortable, and worked on some e-collar conditioning. After his amazing owners practiced this for two weeks, we went back to the same park and Taz did fantastic! This along with a lot of relaxing and desensitizing in a new environment worked wonders for him!
I am so proud of how far he has come!❤️

So incredibly proud of Clover! She has come such a long way in 3 lessons. She can be easily spooked on walks and is very skeptical of strangers. Building a more confident relationship with her owners though basic obedience and guidance has helped her get further on her walks! She has warmed up to a few new people who don’t live in the home. I’m confident her owners have enough tools in their back pocket to help her continue to make breakthroughs!❤️

Today is , a reminder that knowing how to save a life—especially our furry friends—can make all the difference. While having to administer CPR to your pet can be terrifying, being prepared can help you act calmly and confidently in an emergency.

Stay Calm:
1️⃣ Breathe: Take a few deep breaths to steady yourself. Focus on the feeling of the air filling your lungs.
2️⃣ Delegate: If there are bystanders, assign them tasks like finding the nearest emergency vet.
3️⃣ Focus: Keep your mind clear. Concentrate on the steps ahead and stay in the moment.

When to Start CPR:
🐾 Your pet isn’t responding
🐾 Your pet isn’t breathing
🐾 You can’t feel a heartbeat or pulse

How to Perform CPR:
Compressions:
❤️ Position your pet on their side.
❤️ Deliver 120 compressions per minute (2 per second).
❤️ For every 30 compressions, give 2 breaths.

Breaths:
❤️ Close your pet’s mouth and seal it with your fingers.
❤️ Cover their nose and give 2 breaths—enough to make their chest rise.
❤️ Check for a heartbeat after 2 minutes. If there’s no pulse, continue.

When to Stop CPR:
🐾 Your pet starts breathing and responding
🐾 You reach the vet clinic and they take over
🐾 You can’t continue physically
🐾 Your pet starts breathing but is still unconscious

Recovery Position:
Place your pet’s head to the side, slightly tilting down (unless there’s head trauma).

Compression Techniques:
🐶 Medium to Large Dogs: Compress one third of the chest depth.
🐱 Small Dogs/Cats: Use your thumb and fingers for compression, or compress directly over the heart.

Stay prepared and know that you can make a difference in your pet's life! ❤️

Very successful E-collar conditioning for these two hyper pups today! Evie and Apollo are sweet as can be, but have trouble calming down when overly excited. And it doesn’t take much to get them excited! With a new baby on the way, it is crucial to teach these pups how to calm down, and maintain their place in distractions
