UPDATE ON STORMY: Our Storm Cloud is getting stronger and improving each day. His recovery will be a long, extensive and tiring process, but we are in it for the long haul. God hears our prayers and He's all over this! We have now raised $1,066 of the $5000 in medical expenses. We are still in great need. Stormy will be on several medications and a strict, specialized diet for another couple months. In addition to monetary donations for medical costs, the rescue could use gift cards as well. This enables us to be able to purchase his liver supplements, medicine for his gastrointestinal issues, special feed, etc.

Stormy's continued recovery heavily relies on your support. We can put in the long hours and hard work but without donations our labor is in vain. Good morning, everyone. We got Stormy home and settled in about 9 - 9:30pm last night. He is hanging in there like the little trooper he is. We have taken in another $200 towards his medical bill putting us at $966 of the $5000 needed.

UPDATE ON STORMY AND DONATIONS RECEIVED: Currently we have received $766 of our $5000 needed in medical funds to save Stormy. We will be picking him up this evening and making every effort to provide his care at home. Stormy will continue to be isolated and on several medications for the next several weeks/months. The vet will come out next week to check his liver values and further advise.

UPDATE ON STORMY: Spoke to Dr. Stormy did well overnight last night. His triglycerides made a dramatic improvement. They went from 1400 down to 500. They need them to be under 80. GI tract is still not great but he is finally passing a little diarrhea which is good. His electrolytes are the best they've been since he's been there. According to the Dr, this is the best progress he could make at this time. Still a long way to go!

Friends, family, followers, please understand we CANNOT continue this level of medical care and hospitalization without your support. Stormy has been in isolation in critical care for 6 days now. The bills are astronomical!! To date, we have received $200 in donations. If we have to terminate care now, Stormy will rapidly regress and our only option will be to euthanize. PLEASE HELP US SAVE STORMY!!

Today, we are faced with an incredibly difficult situation involving one of our most beloved ponies, Stormy.

Stormy is in critical condition, suffering from severe gastro disease, dehydration, and many liver issues. Despite our best efforts, he requires immediate, life-saving medical care and hospitalization. His treatment will involve around-the-clock medical care including several days of iv fluids, anti-inflammatories, pain meds and nourishment via iv. We are doing everything we can to ensure he receives the care he desperately needs to survive.

We are reaching out to our followers and community to help fund Stormy's medical care. Your generous contribution will directly go toward his hospitalization, medical procedures, medications, and round-the-clock care by a team of veterinarians and specialists.

UPDATE ON STORMY: He's hanging on by a prayer. Triglycerides improving some. Still not passing diarrhea. Still on continual fluids. Giving him pain med with anti inflammatory for intestines. Scheduled for radiographs tomorrow. Still not eating so they are feeding him mash through a syringe. Her words "long way to go."

Please lift him up for complete healing 🙏

Today at the rescue we were graced with the presence of some delightful little visitors! From curious children eager to meet the animal, to fluffy, wide-eyed critters surrounding them. The atmosphere was filled with joy and warmth. The animals, as always, seemed to sense the love and care around them - greeting everyone with gentle nuzzles. It's days like these that remind us of the special connections between humans and animals and the importance of our ministry.

Betsy Chaput, thank you for bringing your lovely family out to visit. We welcome you back anytime!
