Whole Approach Equine Therapies will continue to offer summer one-on-one sessions, but we not be offering summer camps this year due to scheduling. But Camp Cheerful has a wonderful summer camp program, including their therapeutic riding center.

It may be chilly now, but this weekend in the 80 degree weather, the ponies all got a bath and are looking great!

Looking to start a donation fund for therapeutic riding "scholarships" for families that are struggling with financial hardships. At this time, Whole Approach is only able to accept out-of-pocket payments, which can be difficult for families with children with special needs. In order to assist our families and students that benefit the most, Whole Approach will be taking donations to directly pay for a student's program sessions.

Whole Approach offers 9 week sessions, with review at the end of the session to evaluate progress and any potential new goals. Each session is $45.00, with most students attending one session a week. To fund a student's entire session program is a total of $405.00. Please consider donating and helping a family in need. Let's talk!
So why are horses the ideal therapy animal? The answer: because not only are they independently expressive but they can sense human emotions sometimes before you are even aware that you are expressing that emotion. They can understand, sense and feel a whole host of emotions from jealousy, sadness, anger and happiness. Introducing horses in a social-emotional therapy setting opens a new world for individuals. Horses don't judge or speak, but have a true sense of feeling in the most natural way.
