Anyone who might be needing beef… we have two we are taking in on June 23, after that, one in November, then one in January 2025, then one in May 2025. After that none for a while. We had a lot of heifers born in a row. If you think you might be needing some let me know and I will put your name on my list. Thank you!

Grocery stores may be experiencing inflation in egg prices right now, but ours are staying the same! We have eggs available - for $3.50 a dozen, or $2 per half dozen.

Eggs will be washed and refrigerated, however we do offer options for those who prefer to store their eggs outside of the fridge, let us know!

When grocery prices get scary, please don’t forget your local farmers 👩‍🌾 ❤️

We are hiring!

We are looking for a milk hand to help with daily chores.
Chores include: milking cows, feeding cows, cleaning cows, feeding calves, cleaning calves, and having a general love for animals and doing a good job.

12-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Typically 3-6:30 pm. You may be asked to work mornings (4-6:30 am), but not required. We prefer to you to be here 3 days a week. More days are available.

No experience required, paid training.

Training pay starts at $9.50/hr, and then raises from there, once trained

This is a great high school job or college side job!

Estimated total cost currently: $3.40-$3.70/lb.

Variables:
• The beef price fluctuates with the market and is priced by hanging weight:
Currently we are charging $2.85/lb for a split side (1/4), and $2.80/ lb for a side (1/2). This is the fee you will pay us.

Processing fee: The fee charged by butcher. Currently
$0.70/lb - .$0.90/ lb (this is always subject to change)

• $140 harvesting animal fee (ex. $70 if purchasing half the animal etc.)

The amount of beef you will receive will depend on the size of the animal and customization options chosen. For example, if the hanging weight of the animal is 700lbs and you purchased a side, you could potentially get 350lbs of steaks, roasts, soup bones, ground meat, etc. for your freezer. Your customization choices such as amount of ground meat and bone-in or bone-out for certain cuts will affect the overall weight that you receive after processing.

You can expect a side to last you a year or more, depending on how often you eat beef. Vacuum sealed and stored in the deep freezer at zero degrees it will stay good for 1-2 years. You can purchase our beef as the whole animal, side (1/2 animal) or split-side (1/4 animal).

Our animals are processed at E. R. Boliantz Packing Co. in Mansfield, OH, which is also where you will go to pick up your beef when it's ready. After we take the animal in for slaughter, they’ll contact you to completely customize your order. From the cuts and thickness of the steaks, to the size of the roasts, to the number of pounds of ground beef you have made into burger patties, it's all up to you!
