Kahlúa has decided that this mushroom seems like a good place to settle down. It may also have something to do with the fact that my glass is so dirty no one can see him there.

Finally, I am home after 5 days in the hospital for kidney problems. The tanks all seemed to come thru OK except for a little bit of cyano. I did lose one coral thanks to an urchin deciding to take it for a walk, but otherwise, most things look OK. Thank goodness for automation.

Swapping out my kessil a500x for the new 360 that came with the CADE giveaway. Going to use the 500 on the CADE instead since that tank is so much deeper than my IM lagoon. Borrowed a PAR meter from to make sure things are staying mostly the same over the BTAs. Need to order another kessil extension arm to get it back centered, though. Fun fact, if you take a wifi dongle off of one kessil light and place it on another, it saves all the programming. I only had to adjust the intensity.

Think I'm going to try something I've never done before, and set this tank up with a bare bottom. I think the white glass of this tank looks really neat compared to the usual black bottom that most tanks have.

Attempted to clean my skimmer cup. Managed to dump half of it back into the sump, and the other half all over the floor of my cabinet stand..... my living room will never smell the same.....

Is there a point where people show up to ask about the white powder you are measuring out? Finally making the switch to powdered ALL-FOR-REEF after always buying the pre-mixed version before. I guess it's a good sign that I'm starting to need more!

the 50 is doing really well! Starting to see coralline growing and the few LPS frags I put in to start are showing growth also. The hammer I broke when I took it out of the other system has recovered completely. I think I need to add some more herbivores though.....

What do yall think are the chances of Boris (single clown, been single for over a year now) would let Stoli and Kahlua (pair of white clowns) move in with him into the 150 gallon?.......

Probably not likely is it?

(Yes, I do realize that since we lost Natasha... Boris is most likely no longer a he, but that's not the point of the question)

.aquatics gear is definitely putting in the work in my sump! I added an auto-feeder to this tank, and was worried about it increasing my numbers but so far my filtration is keeping up really well.

Several things are definitely showing signs of growth and recovery since being placed into the new 150. I'm really hoping it's not just temporary.

The engine went kaput on our a few months ago so we haven't been able to mow yet this spring. Mom and Austin are supposed to be going tractor shopping next weekend, but until then I've got this awesome bed of wildflowers in my back field. I kind of think it's pretty. Also the snakes seem to like it.

Never give up on a coral too early! This is the last remaining piece of my Manila Spy monti that I was pretty certain I killed off ages ago. When I started to break down the 30g I realized there were a few polyps still showing color. Now after just a week in the new tank they seem to be doing even better. Fingers crossed 🤞

The 150 is starting to get that typical start-up dusting of diatoms over everything.

All fish, rock, and inverts have been successfully moved from the stock tank into the new 150. We lost one clown very early on after they moved into the stock tank in January, but everyone else seems healthy and out and about exploiting their new home. Right now we have 2 tangs, 2 wrasse, a basslet, and a single clown.

Quick video of our current 3 tanks. At this moment all of our systems are by Innovative Marine. Haven't made a decision about the new CADE yet, but a lot of brainstorming going on!

This just by itself is enough to make the trip to aquashella worth it. It's funny how I live in Florida but we almost never get to enjoy the beach....

Astrid is a very active outdoor cat who does a great job of keeping down the rodents....... but she's so chonky she waddles. I don't know how she actually catches anything, lol.

Simple addition to the sump, but it makes an amazing difference. Door activated LED lighting.

This is my first time ever running a tank with a sump. RO water only until I figure it out. Do i have too much water, not enough water, something plumbed wrong? Anything? Thanks
