Today’s the day: our massive Closeout Sale begins!!! Pet accessories make great gifts so there’s no better time to stock up on gear for your pets, or your loved ones’ pets.

Deals are posted in the slides above. I have so many items that I can’t share pics of them all here, so if you see a deal you’re interested in, please DM me! I’ll send pics of the designs I have available in a size that will fit your pet.

Mystery bundles: choose what type of accessory you want, let me know your pet’s gender, and I’ll pick the designs. These bundles may include one seasonal design. If you know of a specific design you want, I’ll do my best to accommodate if it’s in stock :)

Collars & leashes: I do have coordinating sets available as of now! All the leash designs I have are pictured, and all those have collars in select sizes still available. Most also still have coordinating flowers or bow ties (select sizes) & waste bag dispensers. I have many other collars that are not pictured, most of which still have coordinating flowers & bow ties in select sizes.

Happy Sunday, friends! I wanted to provide y’all with a quick market and shop update. (tl;dr: I hurt my back and won’t be at markets for a few weeks. I’m offering 30% off sitewide to help make up for the missed sales.)

Over this last month I’ve been dealing with some old back problems flaring up. I have 2 herniated discs and usually exercise keeps the pain in check, but over the last 1-2 weeks, things have gotten progressively worse. Since I typically do markets alone, I’m having to temporarily withdraw from my usual weekend spots.

I’m giving myself at least 2 weekends to rest and recover without having to lug around all the really heavy stuff that’s needed for a market. I’m shifting my focus to promoting my webshop. As many of y’all know, it’s very hard to establish a new brand online (especially when you’re a really small business with a limited budget!).

The majority of my sales come from markets, and since this is my full-time venture and kibble doesn't grow on trees, I could really use the support of my friends/family/followers in helping me build a bit more of an online following during this time. I’d be incredibly grateful to anyone willing to share my posts to your stories, tag your pet parent friends in a comment, or otherwise engage with my page in some way to help expand my reach.

Heads up to anyone attending the Downtown Clermont Farmers Market this weekend!

Beginning this Sunday, August 13th, the Downtown Clermont Farmers Market will be relocating to W. Minneola Avenue, 8th Street, and the Art Walk area. This move comes as the City of Clermont embarks on street milling and streetscaping work on W. Montrose Street, creating an opportunity to enhance the overall accessibility and parking for our downtown businesses and valued customers.

Clermont Main Street is excited to activate W. Minneola Avenue from 7th Street to Suncreek Brewery's patio, offering a lively array of vendors that will delight marketgoers. Additionally, patrons can relish the expanded patios of Suncreek's and Pepe's Cantina, complete with high-top tables and additional seating along W. Minneola Avenue. This unique arrangement creates a charming atmosphere for visitors to savor their favorite food and drinks while exploring the Downtown area. To further enrich the Farmers Market experience, the Pavilion at the corner of W. Minneola Avenue and 8th Street will host live music every Sunday.

Clermont Main Street invites everyone to continue to Shop Local now through the final stage of construction. Farmers Market visitors are encouraged to continue to shop downtown and along West Montrose Street. All local businesses will continue to be open and will need community support during construction.

Hello friends! I wanted to share an update on the Yard Dolphin Designs Giving Back initiative and let you know what an impact we've been able to make together on the lives of adoptable shelter animals in Central Florida.

Up until this point, I’ve been donating accessories to adoptable shelter pets for every sale I’ve made this year. I just took a huge box of accessories & other items to the Humane Society of Marion County Florida last week!

My goal was to continue this through the whole year. However, I'm now struggling to keep up with production of the number of accessories needed for those donations plus my regular inventory for multiple weekly markets (I’m a one-woman venture here, after all.)

So I’ve decided to evolve the initiative, but don’t worry, your purchases will still be helping shelter pets find homes! I’ve decided to take a portion of the proceeds from each sale to sponsor the adoptions of those shelter pets instead. With their adoption fees covered, potential adopters have more incentive to consider these particular pets. Of course, our sponsored pets will also receive their own accessories to draw more attention to them. Can anyone help contribute to surgery for this sweet pup at Humane Society of Marion County Florida? He was surrendered to the HSMC with significant health issues and is in excruciating pain. They are working to bring him back to health, but it’s an expensive process.

Unfortunately, my sewing machine was admitted to the hospital today after a weeks-long battle with some mysterious syndrome. This may cause some slight delays with a small number of orders.

Most items on the website are ready-to-ship and won't be delayed. However, a small number of items are made-to-order and may take a bit longer than usual. I have adjusted inventory to reflect only what I have on hand, but it’s possible I may have missed something.

The main items impacted are in my newer collections, especially the ever popular Mush Love collars and leashes. I have a handful of sizes on hand, and the rest will be available on the site again once my machine has recovered from its mysterious illness.

Rest assured, I will contact you if I have any problem fulfilling your order within the usual turnaround time. And if you placed an order within the last 2 days, don’t worry: your items are NOT impacted! I just dropped off those packages, and tracking emails should be in your inbox this afternoon :)

This will more significantly impact collar and leash inventory at my next few markets, so I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience. Thank you all, and please send good vibes for my machine to be back to 100% soon!

I had such a fantastic time today at the Modiste Market! Incredible costumes, fun entertainment, delicious drinks, a few adorable dogs…all in an absolutely beautiful setting in Downtown Mount Dora. What a blast!!

(And to anyone wondering, this is not the original regency outfit I had planned. Changed it up last minute because of the heat 🙃)

New snuffle balls are in the works! First chance to get them will be Saturday at the Ocala Downtown Market. Stuff them with treats to reward or stimulate your pet. My border collies love the mental exercise they get from snuffling for chicken or sausage 🐶
